I'll save you guys the trouble, Alabama is number 1.

so Wisconsin is a better job than Arkansas yet Bielema left Wisconisn for Arkansas. Ok.
Also like how they left Arkansas unbolded
don't think Michigan State is a better job either.

Arkansas should easily be a top 4 job, not sure what ESPN was thinking putting them so far down the list.

Just noticed that

Both Florida schools and OSU too high. I also don't think Arkansas should be on the list at all.

I agree with where LSU is, but I would put Florida ahead of FSU.

Why do you say that? What schools would you have ahead of them? You realize that every SEC school gets a little bump just because of the conference.

You just need to see who posted that and move on.

I meant top 25. I think Arkansas is in a tough spot being in the SECw making it a not as attractive job.
To the other poster, regarding Florida schools, I don't think BOTH should be that high. UF is a top 5 job but I'd say FSU is top 10ish.

I hate ND, but their ranking on this list is pretty laughable.

Some coaches will shy away from that but others love that opportunity. Arkansas seems about right at 24 imo

Agreed, should definitely be in the top 10 at least. I think they need to join a conference though

Here's where I would rank the top 25, considering all factors (history, success vs. resources, shitty meddling boosters, facilities, fan support, etc.)
1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Florida
4. USC
5. LSU
6. Texas
7. Florida State
8. Georgia
9. Stanford
10. Tennessee
11. Notre Dame
12. Oklahoma
13. Oregon
14. Michigan
15. Auburn
16. Texas A&M
17. Michigan State
18. Clemson
19. Penn State
20. Wisconsin
21. Nebraska
22. Arkansas
23. UCLA
24. Miami
25. Washington
I deliberately removed the following schools from their top 25 for the following reasons:
Baylor and TCU - Their success is completely dependent on who the head coach is. Without Art Briles, Gary Patterson, and Grant Teaff, both schools are basement-dwellers. Mediocre private schools with TCU having a larger ceiling due to being in Fort Worth.
I added the following schools for the following reasons:
Nebraska - Their recent struggles aside, this is the 4th all-time winningest program in college football history
Washington - Located in a PRIME area with a great coach. The PAC 12 North should be an Oregon/Washington/Stanford race every season.

OSU too. They are a legit top 3 job with recruiting on the level of Bama. The coaches there always get 100% support and all the resources they need to win as well.
How are they too high?

Not bad but I don't think Stanford is top 10, I think top 20 is fine though

Minus sanctions I'd put USC and Texas above OSU. OSU has made 2 really good hires at HC.
My top 5:
Bama
Texas
USC
OSU
UF or LSU

Good lord how did I miss Clemson?
I didn't click the link. Is this not just about best coaching job? Clemson is over performing currently and that's obvious
