One of the better rankings I've seen in a while, save Miami.

Miami is a fricking disaster.

Fair enough. And really, picking any top 10 job, is splitting hairs. Where do you personally feel more comfortable? There are people that would prefer to live in the Midwest, or West Coast, and others that would prefer to live in South.

So Arkansas is a better job then Wisconsin and Michigan State ? What's the 3 programs records over the last 3 years?

Obviously the record of the past three years determines how good a job is. Genius.

I guess Michigan State is a better job than Texas

This list is weak. Coaching pay needs to be given a lot more weight.

Otherwise, explain why Coach of #14 team turns down an offer from #4 team.

Take history out of the equation. Some teams, such as Nebraska will NEVER be what they once were.

Oregon pays $3.15 million/year. Yes they have nice facilities but they have to go out of state for most recruits.

I can't see more than 3 SEC Coaches at most that would swap their jobs for that situation.

I don't even necessarily agree with the other poster but basing a job on just the last 3 years is ridiculous.

I know Texas and USC are easy to recruit to than any other job, but they aren't immune from down turns like the rest of us. Too high on both of them right now. They didn't got decades between titles on accident.

Throw the top 10 in a bag and shake them up, they are all dream jobs for most coaches.

I don't know anyone who would want to go behind Saban, look at what Les has to deal with. He is not without fault, but neither am I. He put together a great foundation for the next 3-4 years, lets hope it pans out and we don't have off the field issues that cause us to loose QB's and once in a lifetime defensive players.

Exactly. Like I said earlier. With the top 10, it's a matter of where you feel more comfortable.
Like, if I were a coach of that caliber, I would rather be at a Southern school, over others.

It depends. Texas and USC (who I just questioned) may be the two best jobs in the country. But it is all relative to the coach.

Yea, like I would prefer Clemson over USC. Hell, maybe even UVA.

Yes. I know UVA seems an oddball in my statement, but I have lots of family nearby, and I prefer mountains/skiing over beaches. Not to mention cost of living is a hell of a lot cheaper.

I have always wondered why Virginia hasn't enjoyed more enjoyed more success outside of George Welsh.

I don't know for sure, but I think they didn't allow early entries till a few years ago. I could easily be wrong, but I think athletes have to be accepted to the school, like a normal student.
If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

don't think Michigan State is a better job either.

I like Arkansas, but I really don't get why Bielema came down here. Arkansas is at best the 4th best team in its division (AKA the best division in college football). If Arkansas was in the Big 10 it'd be no contest, but as it stands I'd much rather coach at Michigan State.

Both Florida schools and OSU too high.

It's cute that L5U fans think they're better than Ohio State.
