They used to have the coolest Dutch table disk game in there called Sjoelbak (pronounced: SHool’-bok). One of the best beer drinking games I’ve ever played and I can’t believe it didn’t catch on at other bars. Never seen it before or since. They took it out sometime after I graduated, but it was a hell of a lot of fun.

My wife (no pics) still loves their turkey wrap. She used to get it as a student, we'll still swing by and get one on occasion.

Yes! That is one of the reasons I loved going there.

Good to hear, been years since I've been back, need to get back again and try some. Son had a Presidential Scholarship to AU and decided to pass, or I'd be coming back this Fall!

Tubby's old assistant, Don Dunn, has taken over as pit master and the Q has definitely improved.

Had a friend that worked at the OG during the summer. We were essentially the only folks in town that summer, so I spent a lot of time up there, she fed me well, and it may have been at a reduced price.

I believe I mentioned this before on here but there used to be a website shulbok.com and the guy who built these tables was a student at Auburn. He passed away and his father still had some of the tables so I got in touch with him and met him south of Atlanta to buy one. I remember he wanted $400 and for it to be cash. I have it in my basement setup and we don't play as much as we did but occasionally, we do and it's as fun as it used to be.

Supposedly, there is one or two setup in the taproom at Oskar Blues brewery in CO.

Was that different than a normal shuffleboard table? I remembered it being the same.
I've always wanted one, but they do take up some room and can be real expensive.

-Burger night at Niffer's. I remember when it was $1.99.

-Wing night at the Strutting Duck. $0.25 wings. Friends lived across the street at Baron's. We'd park there and walk over and get wings.

-China King downtown at the current Hamilton's location. Loved their shrimp friend rice. Also at a bunch at the Sunway on the corner there.

-Flush moved from downtown to the current Bean location. Then when it moved to the small corner location beside Insomnia.

-BUffalo's downtown and/or Buffalo Connection when we were feeling rich.

$0.50 pack of chicken hot dogs from Winn Dixie.

Which, as I understand it is owned by an Auburn guy, Dale (as in @Dale’s Pale Ale) Ketechis, correct? Makes sense

Definitely the $.99 chicken Italian sandwiches at Findley's! Gatti's was a go-to option as well. Brand X Pizza had a $3.99 late night carry-out special, which I took advantage of. If all else failed, I walked down the street to Daylight Donuts and got a few pizza pockets, lol...

Yes Legends was on Opelika RD. Between N. Dean and University on the passenger side of the car if you were going from Gay St toward the Mall.

$7.99 AYCE Beef Ribs, Toast, Corn on the Cob and Fries.
