Didn’t do a meal plan but lived close to Subway and wore out some $5 footlongs. Hungry Howie’s was my late night meal of choice. Did groceries a good bit, mainly just pizza rolls

Shedding a tear for the memories.

Mr. Gatti's, no plate, just put the pizza straight on the tray.

I ate a lot of BBQ sandwiches from the Exxon out by the interstate.

My God yes.

I remember going to buffalo connection when they had all you could eat wings.

Think that's what put them out of business

Prolly the most common was the checkers just north of DT. Checkerburgers + chili dogs

I hit that up all the time for a cheap meal. Value Menu!

Findley’s was at next to Kroger on Dean when I was there (late 2000’s) and still had the Chicken Italian, although it was definitely not $.99.

The meal I miss the most was the hibachi at Nihon on Opelika.

There was a place over in Opelika called James Brown family restaurant that had a killer “meat & 3” kind of buffet. Used to bust that thing wide open on a hungover Sunday afternoon.

Pizza Perfect on maybe Toomers or Thomas St. south of West Glenn?
I lived in the apartments on the corner of W. Glenn and Cox in the mid-80's, and that was our go to pizza place, seems I remember them having some good coupon deals.

Oddly enough, Sam's pepperoni pizza reminds me a LOT of those we used to get from PP.

Me and my roommate would split. 2 1/2 roast beefs for under $3 was legit. And it was back when there was only one size roast beef.
