Of course I'd think differently if he was some a-hole living in my neighborhood, as opposed to being a corrupt but still entertaining fictional dude on TV... Been a little while since watching it, maybe it's time for another binge!...
Just about every comedian says the same thing. I listen to Mark Normand and Sam Morril's podcast, and Attell's name will come up nearly every episode, he's like a god to them lol......
Wish they'd make Insomniac available for streaming. Hell, even Dave's Old Porn (underrated show IMO) is available for purchase on YouTube... ...
Dave's on my Mt Rushmore of comedians. Saw him twice in the past year and a half, and he's still killing it. I was excited for Shane Gillis, Joe List, and Rory Scovel's new specials (which are all great), but I'm really, really looking forward to this one......
LSU and Ole Miss could have the softest defenses in college football for all I know, but after our WR performance today, I'd be shocked if our offense could put up 50 on an empty field against either of them......

In fairness, USC didn't take the lead until the end of the game. If Ronnie Brown was utilized more (he looked impressive in limited time) instead of leaning heavily on an injured Caddy, we might've extended a few drives in the 2nd half and pulled out a W. Long story short, it wasn't a "sh!t the bed"...

Correct. The NFL washes out the dead weight. ...

I have no idea how we'll fare against Cal, because I'm still not sure we've learned much about our offense. I feel like the O bailed itself out with a few "cheese" plays that are unlikely to yield the same results against a P5 team like Cal, but I hope to be proven wrong......
Damn, Nick Saban is only one year younger than Mack Brown? My eyeballs thought way differently......
Definitely the $.99 chicken Italian sandwiches at Findley's! Gatti's was a go-to option as well. Brand X Pizza had a $3.99 late night carry-out special, which I took advantage of. If all else failed, I walked down the street to Daylight Donuts and got a few pizza pockets, lol......
I'd read that if their management wasn't excessively cheap with the production costs of putting on a proper live show, the band probably would've toured throughout their career. If that’s the reason why they stopped, it's a tragedy......
I couldn't possibly name a favorite Dire Straits song because there are too many, but I submit "It Never Rains" as an overlooked gem. ...
Unless I missed it, I'm more surprised no one's mentioned Hannah Gadsby......
Hell yeah, glad you enjoyed. Saw him last July, and I never laughed more at a show. His new material is as strong as anything he's done IMO. I heard him say he's planning to put out a special soon...thank God, it's been too long since his last special!...
My subscription page has several new short clips a day it seems, so I think many other comedians are starting to embrace that strategy too. Dave Attell would have a lifetime of killer crowd work clips to post, if only he gave more of a shite about the business end of his profession ...
I saw Stavros a couple of months ago, and he most definitely does NOT "rely on crowd work nonstop to fill up time". He doesn't do any more or less crowd work than pretty much any other comedian I've seen. He puts out alot of crowd work clips on YouTube because it's fresh content he can post without ...
I grew tired of TWD because it seemed like it wanted me to take it seriously, yet it kept giving me reasons not to. I know, suspension of disbelief and all that... but if you're not even gonna give a slight wink and a nod every so often, then you certainly can't be slacking off by overlook...
I've been on the fence about watching this, but the last few docs I watched on Netflix have sucked colossal arse, and many of the comments here aren't exactly ringing endorsements either ...
8 out of the 10 highest-grossing concerts are music acts that started their career before 1990. That says a lot about today's music, no?
If you think Ticketmaster is bad now, wait til those 8 acts retire, lol... In fairness to the infrequent amount of today's acts dominating the...
I don't know what I just listened to, but it had me about as excited as getting another Tool merch drop notification......
