What I meant is that I don't expect us to sign a Top 10
Class and I'm ok with that if we have 2 or 3 difference makers along with some guys who the coaches have scouted and fit our systems

Right now we are projecting at a 12-15 finish but if we can upset 1 of the big 3 left on the schedule to prove to the recruits that we are back then a top 10 would be very doable.

I don't think we even have to beat UGA or Bama just not get raped.

I think we're in a better position than teams like Arky and Tennessee who are in a complete rebuild and would like to see us leverage that into a couple more difference makers at positions of need. Maybe I didn't say it properly initially but I see this as a positive going forward

3* JUCO OC/OG Xavier Dampeer has committed to Auburn.

Early enrollee too. Probably a guy that will step in when Reece goes and give hopefully Casher time to develop or whomever we get for center

Saw Dampeer yesterday. For a guy who is that big (6'3 300 pounds), he looks incredibly athletic. I mean, he truly looks like he has an athletic build not just some fat OL with a gut

Makes me wonder if the weight is right for him

Concerning the rest of the class it really looks like a toss up on how we are going to finish. I think we will get Myron Burton and Jordan Sims but after that I have no idea how we will finish. We really need a big time DT and CB in this class. Guys that can come play early

Yup. Are there any great CB's lying around?

He was a DT til recently. Reports are he has found a home as an OL.

Shaw really enjoyed his trip. Will be back for the Iron Bowl. AU gained ground.

Garner coached his HS DL coach

I saw that. I mean his HS profile is that of a DT. DTs converted into OG/OC with a good coach do really well from what I have seen.

I am just saying that when I saw him, I would never in a million years guessed he weighed 300 pounds. If you told me he was 275, I'd be shocked

Is it possible he has tree trunks for legs and carries a lot of weight down there?

To add to this Per Hoke he was smiling all night and even signed autographs for Auburn fans at he left the stadium. In the last series as we were trying to stop Ole Miss 1 more time, Shaw was standing up leading cheers behind the near end zone (The significance there is Ole Miss is supposedly 1 of his 3 leaders and he was cheering against them).

Are the coaches or beat writers getting any good vibes from Stephen Roberts? He's been to nearly all of our games but I never hear any comments from him that makes me think he would flip.

This could be a better sign than him actually saying anything. Or maybe I'm just being a posibarner

I just hope he isn't going to all of our games getting the royal treatment just because it's more convenient for him than making it up to T-town.

I don't follow recruiting like a lot of you but I've literally heard nothing from him. No post visit interviews or comments and he's been at 4 of our 5 games.
