with [offensive coordinator] Cam Cameron coming back that's big,"

I think this is the wrong way to look at it and here is why...

Cam Cameron and Gus are both going to play to their strengths. Gus has always had a balanced offense between the run and pass until this year. Why? Because Nick Marshall is playing his first year as a starting QB in the SEC and did not have spring ball to get more comfortable with his receivers.

Cam Cameron on the other hand has the best passing qb in the SEC this year in his second year.

Question is next year. LSU will be run heavy early as they break in a new qb. AU will throw a lot more and be more balanced next year. Where ever DQ goes will affect that to an extent because he is a play maker. But wait and see, regardless of where he goes AU will pass a lot more next year and LSU will pass considerably less particularly early in the season.

TO and Randy Moss for my taste

TO and Randy Moss both made it to the super bowl and played well there. I say we take DQ

Their attitudes were also bad for team chemistry and can be a big reson none of their teams ever won a ring.

The Eagles had the McNabb handicap and TO was injured which arguably could have altered that game as he was a difference maker.

Moss should have won a ring with the Patriots after putting up record breaking offensive stats as a team and a great Super Bowl performance until some great plays/drive by the Giants.

Moss only worked for one season and to my recollection he was the only one that worked. TO also worked in Philly for one season. Bringing it back to relevance because I am sure people don't want to read the pro crap in this thread, DQ may very well work for 1 season at Auburn but I personally would not take the gamble at this point. I will trust the coaches though if we land him.

Lulz, stop being a drama queen. It happens all the time. Some flare ups and then it moves on. Everyone should just chill. It is expected on a message board.

Said he was 100% committed to Alabama over the weekend, and that he had signed papers with Alabama (ellitor could explain this). Yet, Justin Hoke said he knew this all along, and is still predicting him to eventually flip to Auburn, as he did with Stephen Roberts...

I don't know either way.

Signing papers only means the school has to honor them as early enrollees. Zero obligation to choose that school

Exactly. He can sign financial aid with 100 different schools. Doesn't mean squat. Bama doesn't want him it's only a matter of time before they start giving him the cold shoulder ala the Stephon Roberts treatment

Actually Andrew Bone said the staff thought he was perfect for their MLB spot.

Well it does mean something because now Alabama can have unlimited contact with SDH.

Nothing to add from me. Good summary and others have explained signing financial papers.

Just read on the AJC that a WR that "signed" with UGA also "signed" with Tennessee and is suspected to have "signed" with Clemson.

Kid is locking himself down a spot somewhere.
