Yea I lived in Austin for 3 years during school. Buford’s was the only bar we went to on W 6th. The rest of 6th was trash. It’s kinda split in half with an open air patio up front by the road, and then you walk through a hall to the back part which is a two story “club”. From the video on X, he shot people on the front patio while driving then exited and shot people in the street/sidewalk. Absolutely terrible.
Cooper is a very good wrestler. He’s actually from Basile and wrestled with Basile until 8th grade. Their coach was one of Basile’s USA wrestling coaches and when he left for St Ed’s, Coop left with him. They’ve done well in a short time filling out weight classes and racking up points. Hope Coop can get repeat, he’s in a tough bracket as the 2 seed. Lot of good wrasslin in a 10 mile stretch of Hwy 190!
Basile chasing ring #6 in the past 8 years and two in a row. Pretty good run for such a small school wrestling in DIII (1A-3A)

I just assume most of the guys entering the portal are just using leverage to get more money from LSU, and actually have no plans to leave.

As far as Sowela goes, it’s prolly best program in the state but for every operator position there will be dozens applying and with the Westlake layoffs, many have experience

All of this. Sowela is pumping out more and more PTech degrees every year and there’s only so many operator positions in the LC area. You better have some experience or something to set yourself apart. I’ve seen people post on FB about being graduated a year or more with the degree and can’t get an operator job.

Told my wife tonight this is the GOAT. Idk if it’s Home Alone or what but this song always puts me in a good mood.

I think White Castle was a 15 seed when they won in 2010. Jennings made it as a 23 seed I think in 2019. Teams just get hot at the right time, or have a dude who turns it on in the playoffs.
We just started watching Bluey. It’s my favorite of the kids shows. The jokes and references are funny. I walk around the house talking in a British accent. It annoys the shite out of my wife
Lived there for 3 years for school. Absolutely miss it.

Nothing like finishing a big test and going to a bar on a random Tuesday night with classmates and listen to some no-name band blow the roof off the place. Always something to do no matter the day of the week.
Grant is probably reading this from OBs. According to social media, he’s dating a McNeese freshman now  not a bigger douche in Lake Charles.
I remember when their student housing description on their website was literally copy/pasted from LSUE’s website, but they forgot to delete the “LSUE” portion of it
The library in my hometown has a “French Coffee Talk” once a week I think. About 30-50 older people go and speak Cajun French. They have certain topics, bring in a guest speaker, etc. over coffee and donuts. Pretty cool.
Stumbled across this short video on some roofers from Lafayette. Yikes.

It’s not traditional Medicare. It’s an advantage plan. And they are garbage. Lure you in with perks and discounts but are hot garbage when you need to find a provider or get something covered.

Please talk your loved ones into a traditional plan with Part B coverage for comprehensive healthcare coverage.
Lived there first year of college. Moved out the second our lease was up after a year. Manager was sketchy AF. We called him “Crooked arse Bryan”
