There was a golden opportunity after Houston left and may have been another one post-petrino (per rumor). It would have, and still is a bit of a speculative investment but I think one worth taking. Not to be one of "those guys", but Ive been on the "Hire Gus as Ark HC" band wagon since Houston left. He has always shown tremendous talent.. from that point in 2007 he could have been given a few years to adjust to the college game, which he picked up very quickly, and we could have tried to hook him up with a solid DC. Oh well.. thats all in the past now. Still love Jeff Long and Gus Malzahn. I wish Gus all the best, he really does deserve it. He has been past up and underrated for long enough.. it's his time to shine and I wish him a great career.

I still remain without much of an opinion on Bielema. I want to see where we are at next season although I do like his personality, believe in his style of football, and he seems to be a man that believes in integrity.

Next season, next season.. seems like we've been saying that far too long.

yes! Great game! I am very proud of this young team! Alex Collins is probably one of the fastest tailbacks we have had in many many years. I look forward to seeing him in the combine some day. If he keeps this up it looks like he could be a highly touted draftee.

I also love this coaching staff. We are very fortunate to have one of the best overall coaching staffs in the country. If we can keep these guys taken care of we should be contenders in the SEC in short order.

Its still going to be a rough season and we are still looking at the possibility of going to the No Bowl.. but I think we should improve by leap and bounds next season and be contenders in 3 to 4 years. I look forward to a LONG reign in Fayettville by Coach Bielema! WPS!

SCAR has stepped up the tempo in their defensive practices this week and stay loose.. I think they have it hard for Georgia to pull out a win between the hedges. I got SCAR winning by 10
