Isn't this a slap at Texas that Saban thinks there's less "pressure" to win as coach of the Longhorns?

must have been pay back for this years ago...

Auburn runs more power out of the spread than anythin

Auburn really doesn't even run a spread in a sense of spreading out the defense. They run misdirection power sets.
Yeah, Auburn's offense looks more like a hurry up power wing t from the pistol
Talent means nothing if you can't coach it. As you can see, he taken talent from a 3-9 team to 7-1 right now.
It has gone exactly as I expected. I hope to be wrong soon because it's lonely on this island.
It always seems to happen when a fanbase get too cocky, their team have an humbling performance. With that said. Arkansas 28 Auburn 24.

seems like half his routes are just busted comeback routes. JFF gives him the nod before a play that says, "hey dude run down there bout 20 yards until I leave the pocket, then come back 10 or so"

bam, another 20+ yard gain.

That's exactly what I see. He won't be able to do that to NFL DBs. Gotta be able to run routes well else he'll be another Matt Jones.

I'm impressed with his ball skills but I don't think he runs routes well and if he doesn't improve that he'll be average at the next level.

Thompson however, plays well as long as he knows he is playing.

Good to hear, Thompson will need to show some kind of passing ability to keep Mizzou from stacking the box. You saw what happened to UF last week when they couldn't generate a passing attack.

without Connor Shaw, it won't be pretty. Mizzou alot to USCe very little.

When was the last time Urban Meyere lost a game?

Better question is when was the last time he had a losing season.
quote:

doing you a lot of good i see. where's the rest of the defense?

Wow, can't believe you think he's talking about tackling. top 3tackles=Top 3 Offensive Tackles (OT). He not talking about top 3 tackling defense or top 3 tacklers on defense.

you heard it about chiz too right?

No, Chiz didn't have a system. He got a ring from Malzahn's system with Cam running it. No one credit Chiz for that NC even though he was the HC. They credit him for hiring the coach that orchestrated the offense that led to the natty.

sumlin- the greatest coach evar with ONE superstar player

I heard this same stuff about Malzahn's system and Cam and that it wouldn't work without a superstar QB.

Tier 2
Malzahn
Sumlin
Freeze

Tier 3
Dan Merlins
Bret Bielema

As I alluded to in my previous post, Alabama's defense has gotten a bit better since that game against Texas A&M on September 14. Since A&M they have only allowed a single touchdown to be scored on them in 5 games. 16 points overall. 42 of the 68 points we have allowed so far this season were scored in a single game.

So if Alabama played A&M now, they would keep A&M under 40 and 600+ yards? That's how you tell if you have improved. Since A&M, Bama hasn't played anyone similar so it's hard to say they have improved.
This play tells everything about the attitude Malzahn has instilled in these players. I remember Julio Jones doing stuff like this.
I don't see how any players could afford to be a student athlete of the money they get. I bet the diet of a football player can get pretty expensive. I know they get a stipend for supplements.
