I still cannot understand why people didn't "get" Relapse at the time. As time went on it has become highly regarded, but when it was released as Em's comeback album in 2009 everyone had mixed opinions on it, mostly due to the dialect. I personally think it is criminally underrated, with some of his better songs "Same Song and Dance", "Beautiful", "Deja Vu", "Stay Wide Awake" and of course "3AM".

Off the top of my head this is what I thought of. Any other albums from any genre that didn't get the reaction it should have AT FIRST?

Average QB that might still have the potential to be good or even great. Problem is he brings it all in himself with the way he acts and presents himself as a douche, add to the fact that he is on a team that what looks like an awesome offense and elite defense, which means he should have it easy, but just look at his performances in 2013.
