So the Tim Waltz staffer who intentionally damaged 6 Tesla's is getting a sweetheart deal from the DA. The direct victims (car owners) should have a slam dunk civil case for some multiple of actual damages.

But his real target was not the car owners (they were collateral damage,) but Tesla Inc., the company. He was trying to lower the value of their brand through unlawful intimidation.

I think Tesla Inc should also sue for damages (measured in $Millions). I think they could have a very good case against him (torturous interference?). And it would do a lot to prevent others from repeating his actions in areas with Soros DAs. Even if they lost the case, or settled for a much lower amount, it would be money well spent.
It seems to me that the answer is clear. Any AI generated fake not clearly labeled as such would be, by definition, libelous against the person being faked. So not protected but actionable with potentially large liabilities involved. These would be civil liabilities, not criminal. The concept of libel already peacefully coexists with the First Amendment.
I haven't read the bill, but what I would like to see is exceptionally stiff penalties for adding Fentanyl to any other drug or selling as anything other than Fentanyl.
The biggest problem is people who wouldn't take Fentanyl ODing because they thought they were taking a safer drug.
Adding Fent to other drugs or misrepresenting Fent should be treated as harshly as murder (up to and including the death penalty)
Is this only an X thread? is there an actual article that could be linked?

This one is not solvable. You can easily imagine a slightly larger square that wouldn't violate anything you've been told in the problem.

ETA: I am talking about the 2nd problem with the green square in the square.

Now look at SP500 priced in Gold to see real dollar performance.
Biden had the worst inflation ever (worse than the Carter years). If the stock values are stagnant, the market will go up measured in dollars.
Bad call.

Trump isn't trying to force Arab nations to take Palestinians. He is highlighting that the Arab nations don't really care about the Palestinians and should stop all the posturing.

Huh??
Either the reporter is very confused, or there are aspects of the process I was unaware of. I'm not ruling out the latter.

No. Immigration is a federal issue. States weren't allowed to deport illegals if they wanted.

re: Interracial killings of women

I am the first downvote. That is a misleading statistic.
If the blacks and white have equal propensity to commit murder, and pick their victims at random, then with white population being 5x the black you would expect a 5x more likely with that statistic (and it was more than 5x for most of that 64 years)

You should instead look at a more recent interval (say last 20 years), then compare the absolute number of blacks killing whites vs whites killing blacks. You will still find a huge disparity, but more like 8x - 10x.

Not trying to take away from the point, but you don't need to use cooked statistics to make it.

I think DeSantis is a super capable executive. He would be wasted in the Senate.
