Counselor for 3 years and then a co-chair. We teach them about A&m, college life, and how high school no longer matters. Then we give them a network of people to hang out with once they get back to campus. That parts straight forward

There's a method to the madness with the goofy hair and costumes but that's a little harder to explain. It kinda goes back to the proving high school doesn't matter. We as counselors act obnoxious to lower their guard and show no one gives a shite how cool they try to act.

I realize I'll get blasted, but I met my wife and and a lot of great friends in fish camp.

My fish year was '06 as well. I think saying "here" for the class year started from the ol ags there for their 50th year reunion. They would all emphatically say "HERE" anytime their class year was mentioned. I assume the "tradition" built off that.

Im not reading the last 7 pages but A&M donors have said the SEC front office has told A&M to hold on scheduling marque ooc games. Since were new and our schedule is more versatile while the realignment scheduling is finished. Im sure no one here will believe me, but A&M typically has at least 1 marque ooc game a year so ill buy it.
