it's awesome and your kid will love it even more. plus, this is where the "march" starts so, she can get pics with the cheerleaders/mike/golden girls. just follow the parade all the way down the hill.

Thanks, that's awesome! She's been asking me since last year when I was going to take her to a game. Those are the kind of things that I think she'll remember forever.

make damn sure that you take her by the greek theatre to watch the drumline warm up before the "parade down hill". chills, brother......chills

I've always stood in the same spot in front of the band at the bottom of the hill to hear them play the pregame, but I've never gone to hear the drumline warm up. Thanks for the tip. I'll make sure to not miss it.

I don't appreciate your tone. It will be my 6 year old daughters first game, and for a little girl who's never been to a game those things are special when you see them for the first time. As a grown man I go for the game and watching my Tigers destroy their opponent, but for my little girl I want her to experience everything that Tiger Stadium has to offer. She won't grow up to play football at LSU but maybe she might want to become a cheerleader or play in the GBFTL. And for your information I make sure to watch the band march down victory hill every game I attend. I have done so since I was a little boy.
That SUCKS!!! But hey, I'm still going to make everything magical for her. I bought her the book "Born to be a Tiger Too", and her LSU cheerleader uniform. I'm making sure that she doesn't miss a thing. I want it to be as special for her as it was for me when I was young.

It's my daughter's 6th birthday next week and I am going to take her to her first game at Death Valley and I don't want her to miss a thing. Does anyone know if there is any way to find out if there is going to be a flyover during the National Anthem for either the Kent St or Auburn game?

What's your favorite moment or game in Tiger Stadium?

1988 vs Miami. My Dad surprised me and took me to my first game. I don't think it has ever rained so hard. It was like they actually brought a hurricane with them. Even though we were destroyed, that was the night I fell in love with LSU football. There is nothing like that first experience of watching TGBFTL march down victory hill. And there's nothing like hearing the chants of "Tiger Bait" being vaulted at the opposing fans for the first time. I have been to a lot of games since, including every home game of the 2003 season, but still, nothing tops my first one.
After watching 2 girls 1 cup, Austin Brown said "That's disgusting.....Two Girls!!!".
Really.....REALLY?Did you acually let that come out of your mouth? Les is way too young to retire, and why the hell would he go anywhere else? Next time think before you speak, or type. :banghead:

Pay Cam and Chief what they want and let's go on a run for a few years

I agree 100%! Dare I say Dynasty!!!
There was no grounding call in the end zone. People keep saying something about him throwing the ball into the dirt. He's actually showing a lot of maturity as a quarterback. In a screen pass, you only have one receiver to throw too. In this case the receiver was not open and the play was busted. At that point the correct thing to do is throw the ball at his feet, and that's just what Mett did. We do need to work on our screen game but not the QB. Our OL and RB have to do a better job of disguising the play.
Clock management was actually perfect. The only blunder was on the officials part, but they corrected that. We haven't had clock management issues for a few years now. In my oppinion, our team looks great. We will be dialed in and all of the rust will be knocked off by the first SEC game. I can't wait!

I love how everyone is so damned worried about the rankings. This is the SEC. The rankings mean NOTHING! The only thing that each team needs to worry about is the one they play next. People should know by now that in the SEC you can't count anyone out, accept for Kentuky of course. Let's leave the shite talking to after the game is played. All of the "experts" can try to predict all they want. We've all seen how hard it is to predict from week to week in this confrence.

He needs to focus more on taking angles, proper tackling, and having better awareness on the field.

"Focus, Power Daniel son", I mean Craig.

Ok. We can end this thread.

Noooooooo, I won't go without a fight!

You can't be that stupid! They started run, run, pass which got TCU to load the box at predictable times. Then they started throwing on first and second downs. After that they were able to call successfull run plays. Remember, we did end up with 200 yards rushing.

I'm sure we would like to get an 80 yard run every time we touch the ball, but there is a little thing called setting up your plays. Coach Cam proved his worth last night in every aspect of the offense. and if you can't see that then your blind.

How do some of these thoughts actually enter into someones head? They can't really believe what they're saying.
I was worried at first with the run, run, pass philosophy, but Coach Cam is a genius. He let them stack the box, which opened up the passing game, which eventually opened up the running game. There is a reason CLM hired him and he's getting payed all that money.
Whatever our ranking is, we will be underated. It doesn't matter though, we just need win the next game. We could be ranked first, and if we don't win the next game we will be out of the hunt for the NC. So like I said, the rankings don't matter. Winning is all that matters, and I'm sure CLM is telling his players the same thing.

he takes for, fricking ever to admit he was wrong and make changes

Miles is the winningest coach in the SEC. He can take as much time as he wants, as long as he still wins games. And what do you care? You need to worry about your little Stanford team winning the weak arse PAC 12.
