I own a Sportsman Tournament 214. Love it. Finish, ride, layout, access.....all of it. The few complaints I would have are minor and not worth mentioning. I agree that the layout on the Masters series is a little odd. I would definitely give them consideration....

Look at the brakes. Make sure the brake race is clean and slightly lubed. How many brakes do you have on? They may be worn and need to be replaced.

yes you need a license to guide.
Actual guides who do it for a living really hate guys who do it for "tax purposes".
It really devalues what they do....
