SEC West Predications

1) Alabama- they will be national championship contenders as long as saban is around. I am predicating 3/5 national championships at least out of the next 5 years. The only team i could see Alabama loosing to is Texas A&M (Ole Miss is my second closest team beating them with a 15% chance they will)
2) Texas A&M-this was a close one between them or LSU. bottom line, LSU lost to many juniors to the draft that played significant roles. Texas A&M is a program on the rise and will beat LSU and possibly alabama.
3) Ole Miss/LSU- this one will piss some people off, but I think it is to close to give to one school or the other. LSU, a defining program for years under les miles, and Ole Miss a rising program under Hugh Freeze. I think the Ole Miss LSU game will be one of the best games of the season even though many people do not think so. Ole Miss traditionally gives LSU all they have, as seen in the past season. On the other hand, LSU destroyed Ole Miss both seasons prior. Either team could have a great season, or under preform. Both these programs will need to be watched out for.
5) Arkansas- Could the loss of Bobby Petrino really have been that big a deal? Apparently so for a team that didn’t have much of a direction, couldn’t stop screwing up, and was horrendous defensively, especially against the pass. Bret Bielema is coming in looking to turn things back around right away, and while the expectations won’t be at national-title-or-bust level like they were before the Petrino fiasco, the Hogs are supposed to be factors again.
6) Mississippi State- A program on the downfall I have to say. THey did manage to score a major 5 star recruit defensive end Chris Jones but besides that, they dont have much. Mississippi State almost lost to Troy, giving up 500 yards of offense, and was beaten badly by Ole Miss. Dan Mullen needs to start preforming, and soon.
7) Auburn- they had a great recruiting class, but it will take a year or so to built it back up. Every team needs to rebuild and this is Auburns year to do so
oxford. the grove was an amazing experiance, and many of the fans would offer me food even though I was a Texas fan. The fans love ole miss, and their tailgating, and it was an amazing time
