I like Vettel, but hope him going to Ferrari doesn't start an era like the 2000's Shumacher/Ferrari.

Car isn't good enough for that.

also, Schumacher and Ross Brawn were playing a little loose with the rules in regards to traction control while he was at Benetton and then at Ferrari.

if you go back and research, a lot of drivers were complaining about Schumi's car, starting in '94, all the way through his last championship with Ferrari.

Undercover Colors is simply the latest in a slew of anti-rape products that don't necessarily make the world a safer place, but do make women's lives more difficult by adding yet more items to the list of things they "should" do to avoid rape. The logic of these products rests on some decidedly problematic assumptions about what causes rape in the first place, and also suggests that men are unable to control themselves.

his hitting coach showed him how to do that...

also when you are setting the desired team before the draft, look for a team with holes.

I started with Giants because i thought i could quickly make it to majors at first... i got traded to nationals and that kindof went down the drain, luckily their starter had been performing well below expectations the entire season.

if we pick the Astros, do we start off in Houston?

I agree that his system will not last long, possibly not after this year. If it does I fully believe the select schools will take their money and run, creating their own association. I also think they will invite any public school interested to join them. This would be the beginning of the end of the LHSAA. Without the money from the select schools the association could not function.

hhhmmmmm, so you saying the private schools will form their own organization, like LISA (Louisiana Independent School Association) and leave the LHSAA? then, what will the LHSAA do when the legislatures finally pass a bill giving themselves control over publicly funded schools and any organization associated with those publicly funded schools which also receives public funds.

this all sounds very interesting, i wonder if John Curtis and Evangel are a little worried that they will be left behind after the reshuffling.

and to the person that said he's been to the championship games the past 5 years and private schools don't bring a lot of fans. those fans that watch their team in the dome, watch every game they play, while the majority of public schools have fans that show up for that one game. it's all the other public schools that don't make it to the dome that will be hurt by not playing private schools in the playoffs.

over the last 35 years, i've seen too many high school games, that i see the writing on the wall. the worst was a private vs public regular season game. the private side(away) was sold out with people standing along the fence, while the public (home) had maybe ten fans in the stands. they lost by 50 points, but even the principal said they scheduled the game in hopes of getting a good gate and concessions for the schools account. meanwhile, La. has private schools that go out of their way to schedule other private schools, because perception is public schools don't bring fans for away games and they make a smaller gate and concessions.

the new playoffs is crap! this is all because the public schools are mad at John Curtis and Evangel. Meanwhile, Barbe and West Monroe are two of the biggest recruiting schools along with them, and not one word is said.

i have noticed something, private schools support their teams with fans in the stands, while a lot of these smaller towns don't go out to the games, especially if it's out of town. Money is made at the gate, and the private schools will get richer playing each other, while the public schools are cutting their own noses off to spite them.

LINK Here is a link to the video of the 2007 stomping, since you missed it.

in '07, LSU was already in the locker room when Florida started jumping on the eye, as shown in the video.

in '09, the team was still on the field for pregame. i remember the officials knew what was about to happen, and they all started congregating at midfield. when florida did their final punt to the return man at mid field, the officials immediately started pushing the gators off the eye, and the LSU players started moving to midfield. words were exchanged, but the officials did get the gators off the eye and had them huddle around the 35.
