re: New Orleans Saints Draft Thread
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/25/24 at 1:27 am
I definitely feel like the Saints should not reach if there are a run of tackles drafted before we pick at 14. I want to get the best tackle on the board, but I’m not against trading back and netting some more picks in the process. As others have said, I’m not exactly keen on the idea on the Saints ...

I see your point, although one key member definitely was not obscure, that being Jake E. Lee. ...

What about Stryper? They didn’t really have any huge radio or MTV hits other than “Honestly”. Lots of solid 80’s metal tunes that these guys put out, and they were unique in those days because they were a Christian metal band. They were one of the first 80’s hard rock bands I got into, when I bought...
Question for the Bass Players
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/23/24 at 8:43 pm
I have a question for the Bass Guitar Players of the MB. How difficult was it for you to become proficient at playing the bass? Were there some road blocks you encountered that made it somewhat a frustrating learning experience? If you also play guitar, how similar was it to learning guitar? What we...
re: Will the tattoo fad fade out?

I’m the same, too indecisive. I would have buyer’s remorse if I got a tattoo lol.
I feel like you see way more women these days with tattoos than guys. I’ve always said, when they are 80 years old, that ain’t gonna look good. ...
re: Lynard Skynard left early last night at the Cajun Dome

Man, I was thrilled to get to hear ZZ play live. I grew up a big fan of Skynyrd and it was a treat to get to see them perform again, but it was an honor to be in the same building as the man himself, the legend Billy Gibbons. ...

My wife and I were there last night! Amazing show by all three bands! Second time seeing Skynyrd, first time seeing Black Stone Cherry and ZZ Top.
I didn’t feel like Skynyrd left early, they played pretty much all the songs I remember them playing when we saw them in 2022. ...

Please Pray for Lafayette
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/18/24 at 9:24 pm
I am a Lafayette resident and unfortunately my area has seen a lot of tragedy lately. Two college students at UL Lafayette have died, three people were murdered, and a sheriff’s deputy committed suicide. Sad times in Acadiana, and hoping that these tragic events can bring the community together. Tha...
What will MT13’s Legacy with the Saints Be?
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/18/24 at 12:00 pm
Now that it is said and done with Michael Thomas’ time with the Saints, how will his legacy in New Orleans be remembered? More for the good times or for the bad times? Do you think he will end up in the Saints Hall of Fame? ...
What is today’s most difficult job?
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/17/24 at 1:26 pm
What do you think is the most difficult, stressful job in America today?
My opinion would be it has to be a police officer. These men and women never know what situations they’re going to face on a day to day basis, or if they’ll even make it home alive to their families. With the anti-police cl...
Should Nabers be the first WR taken?
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/16/24 at 3:56 pm
I’m trying to put my LSU fandom aside and think objectively here. Do you believe Malik Nabers should be the first WR taken in the draft? Does he have the highest ceiling?
There’s no question the Top 3 are Nabers, Harrison Jr., and Odunze. What separates Malik from the other 2 to where he has a s...

What Music Streaming Service Do You Use?

For those that stream their tunes, which service do you use? Apple? Amazon Music? Spotify?

Bands You Got Burned Out On
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/12/24 at 3:46 pm
What is a band or bands that you used to love, but totally burned out on? Either because you listened to them so much that you got sick of em, or because your musical tastes changed?
I’ll start. I used to absolutely love Guns N’ Roses. On my 14th birthday, right before my freshman year of high s...

Is Korn worth getting into?
Posted by SaintlyTiger88 on 4/9/24 at 2:43 pm
One band I have never been able to get into is Korn. I haven’t tried too much, only have heard a handful of their songs, but I can’t get past Jonathan Davis’s voice. It’s just…weird sounding.
I’m a big metal-head and enjoy a lot of bands from Korn’s era. Should I really give Korn a chance and lo...
