Craft paper roll from Lowes (the kind that people lay on new flooring while still under construction). They are near the paint section.

I'll make a deal with you for next season. Let me buy all those pesky mid-week games for reasonable price. Then give me first shot at purchasing the weekend tickets before you put them on the market. Or sell me all the tickets minus whatever weekends you want to keep.

This is so disheartening. I will likely die before season tickets are available in the grandstand unless there is massive expansion of the stadium with a second level / upper deck grandstand.

I would love to have season tickets. I would pay the TAF fees and ticket prices ($2k for 2) but I'm not paying crazy prices on SeatGeek.
I'm currently buying about 13-15 games a season on the ticket exchange when they announce the tickets are going on sale. It's usually 10 games that are mid-week and 3-5 games on the weekend. It's the most cost affect way I could get tickets ahead of time. I take my dad who is 80 years old and needs to plan in advance to attend. Otherwise, I would purchase 1 hour before game time for mid-week games when people are desperate to get some money for unused tickets.
They could open a second level of seating at the press box level and sell those out easily.

One of the best things about following baseball is to see the growth and development of players over the season. Figuring out who can be counted on is part of the fun. You can't do that without putting people in tough situations and see what they do. The good thing about baseball is you have room for error as you figure that out. Great coaches minimize the damage / losses as you work through the roster and put the team in a good position for post-season.

I purchased it after a friend recommended. I tried to read it and got overwhelmed by the amount of options. I need to get back to it.

Same with "just a massive, massive..." and use of the word "huge", Scone does it too.

I got called last year. One of the questions in the interview process was "Do you have bumper stickers on your car? If so, list the bumper stickers."
One guy said he had an American Flag and a Rebel Flag on his truck. Dismissed in the first round.

re: NIL vs Pay to Play

Yes, high school athletes can make NIL deals. Had to sit through a meeting with my kid this past year before the season started. The only "rule" the school said was that the athlete can't utilize the schools name, image, logo, jersey, etc without written permission.

Usually even a national or regional franchise based business is OWNED by a local person. If you don't like the food or service, skip it. But I would encourage you not to write-off a franchise just because it's a franchise.

If you are going to Fremont, go have a pizza at Pizza Rock...it's a block off the old strip. You can walk up and get a slice if you don't want a full meal. You won't be disappointed.

Last season I sat next to those 3 guys for 3 games. They are there every game with their gloves, wave an LSU flag before the game, and know everyone in that section and the section over. Seem to be nice guys and very friendly. Talk a lot out loud during the game - mostly positive.
