True but I really don't think the link/interview actually exists anyway. MSU fans have convinced themselves the Freeze/Richie Brown exchange actually happened because they've repeated it millions of times on message boards. They're all so consumed with bear hate that none of them stopped and questioned where the quote originated. I bet it started as "I heard Freeze told Richie Brown........" and went from there.
quote:

He said this in a 247 interview

Then kindly provide a link to said interview.

Use your channel guide when it goes live to find it.

The fact that Comcast cust serv can't tell me what channel it'll be on in Atl 48 hrs before launch tells me there's a slight chance the channel may not just magically appear on my channel guide on Thur. Or maybe it will

I believe it's going to be 715 for HD, 140 for SD.

Thanks
Anyone know what channel the SEC Network will be on Comcast in Atlanta?

It's two days before launch, I've called Comcast customer service 3 times already, and they still can't tell me what channel it will be on. Typical I know

Conference Expansion - VA Tech

I've seen a lot of talk here and other places about the possibility of VA Tech joining the SEC and how that would deliver the DC area tv market. But would VA Tech really deliver the DC market?

For one thing, Blacksburg is 268 miles from DC. I lived in DC for a couple of years almost 10 years ago, and I honestly can't recall meeting any VA Tech grads/fans while living there. On the other hand, I knew a bunch of UVA people, a few MD people, as well as people from most other SEC and ACC schools.

Also, VA Tech has only been in the ACC since 2004. VA Tech wasn't even in a major conference until 1991 when they joined the Big East...... having previously been turned down by the ACC multiple times.

I have no doubt that adding VA Tech would deliver the Richmond and Tidewater tv markets. But I'm not so sure about the DC market. What does everyone think?
