We don't give a rats arse about Underwood. Im happy how our extra money was spent.

would've preferred another O-Linemen or two... but that's just me.
Neaux, thanks.

Have you seen the Raiders?
all that typing to ignore how MEH Bryce Underwood has been this season for Michigan.

okay, boomer.
Was curious about this too.

In the stadium, they didn’t show any replays save for the review of the Florida catch on the sideline.

In the past they’ve shown replays of potential targeting calls or better angles of plays being reviewed.

Been three weeks and we’ve played 3 good defenses and La Tech.

Chill.
Bring back the Power-I and keep Pyburn in the fullback spot. He and Bauer Sharp owned whoever they needed to block which sprang Durham loose.

The edge was there and it was perfect.

More of that, please.

Burrow and Daniels had no problem with production from RBs (because they gave the defense more things to think about), but MFs at QB who can't run, coupled with not being good with the deep ball, coupled with lack of running period, spells disaster for the run game.

Burrow and Daniels both had complete offensive lines that had all played with each other for more than just two gams. Burrow & Daniels had a deep ball that needed to be respected and weapons on the outside that demanded multiple coverages, which really spread defenses out.

Nuss only has one of those things. This iteration of the O-line has had literally one full game together to build cohesion. ONE. That shite matters. If Moore doesn't get hurt, we're talking about a different game. Nuss hasn't uncorked a good, deep ball yet this season. The under-throw at the beginning of the game fricking sucked. If he hit Brown down that sideline for the kill shot on the first drive, it's possible we aren't having this conversation at all.

The team wasn't focused. The energy wasn't there, and the execution was shite.

Get to work this week. Focus up. Beat Florida. Send Sun-Belt Billy packing.

Is anyone else a bit concerned that our 10 million dollar coach didn’t understand that in the moment?

No. In years past, when the offense was leaps & bounds better than the defense, going for it became standard because you needed any extra points you could get. Also, it helps that two years ago, you had a Heisman-winning QB and an offense that couldn't be stopped. You go for it.

Now that BK knows he has a more-than-viable defense, kicking was his best option, and he acknowledges that.

Say what you want, but he has done a great job at changing course when shown/finding out something wasn't working.

Consistency.

This team has the talent and the coaching to win the whole thing. This is the roster we've been waiting for BK to build.

This team can beat anyone. I hope they stay consistent and play to their talent level every week.

USCe, Florida, and A&M are all at home. Advantage, good guys.OM in Oxford is going to be stressful and idgaf what people say about Alabama, until I see the scoreboard that says we have more points than they do at 00:00, I'm going to worry about that game.

The one we ran 3 times in a row lol

After those three straight screens, I so badly wanted to run the same look a fourth time, but for Nuss to pump fake the screen and then have one WR (Hilton or Brown) book it on a 'go route' and catch the defense biting on the screen.

could've been a big play.

Sadly Clemson will prove to be overrated

when compared to stronger teams, yes.

but the ACC is weak (has been for a while, thus their "dominance") so they will be inflated as they have been since 2019

hostile environment.
top 10 opponent with a good defense.

BK didn't take the Barion Brown TD off the board. In my opinion, the only dumb thing BK did was not take the FG before half

One is that you have to survive the ground

if the ground can't cause a fumble, then it shouldn't contribute to an incomplete pass, especially if you've established control with one foot down.

The play should've been over and ruled a touchdown once the replay showed he had possession, crossed the pylon, and hit the pylon. There is zero legitimate reasoning for that call to have been ruled anything but a touchdown.

Someone said in another thread, and it's true. If Bauer Sharp had enough possession of the ball for that to be ruled a fumble, then Brown had it long enough for that to be a TD.

A Solution to the Review Problem

Posted by WackyChris on 8/31/25 at 11:31 am
In the case of the Barion Brown overturned catch call, this is how replay SHOULD work:
- - -
When a team challenges a call, the rules analyst/expert that is called upon by the broadcast crew for rules clarifications should be the one on the other end of the headset talking to the referee. NOT someone hundreds of miles away in the conference office. That rules expert is there, on-site and is as non-partisan as it gets. He should be relaying the rules to the white hat on the field and helps them come up with a ruling.

THEN, once the call is "upheld" or "overturned," he gets on the mic with the commentators and explains what happened during the review process because the refs don't explain a damn thing.

It'd be transparent and informative.

I'm so tired of this game still being left up to human error when we have 96 different camera angles on every play.

Auburn and Bruce Pearl seem A-okay

just to name a couple, I'm sure there are more.
