I'm in Riverbend. Most of the neighborhood is ok but there was high water in the streets. Two streets (Destrehan and Belle Grove) had very high water, some with water inside. Some houses with yards that back up to the canals took water. Tezcucco got it the worst.

I enjoy Rum House on a day like today, but I don't know if it's ideal to watch a game.

Canefield Tavern BR Review

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a while. We definitely will be going back.
Yesterday (a Saturday) we arrived to eat a late lunch. To our surprise, they handed us a brunch and breakfast menu. They did have a limited regular menu (burger, sandwiched, gumbo), but the brunch menu looked too good to pass up.
We got an assortment of things to try. The biscuits might be the best I've ever had, flavorful sausage gravy, a dish with fried oysters and eggs benefict, and a great egg hash with fresh veggies and andouille. Also, my husband enjoyed the Bloody Mary "Buffett" that allowed you to prepare it how you like.
The service is also awesome. It looks nothing like Brewbacher's-- it's clean, fresh, and cozy.
Highly recommend.

I just want you to know that if this employee has a contractually agreed to number of days of leave and you are posting about the content of some of that leave on a message board, that is grounds for unethical behavior in a superior position and could hurt you in the long run if you go ahead and reprimand him... CYA.

Love the progression. Never had a dog. My husband wanted a pup asap -- golden. It's crazy watching him grow over just 5 months.
