2. Alabama vs. Auburn
3. Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky

5. LSU vs. Arkansas

Poll: Best SEC Baseball Programs

Posted by RollTide2016 on 4/14/13 at 4:27 pm
Since everyone seems to be into baseball now, I have decided on a baseball poll. I don't watch much SEC baseball, so I was looking for some fellow SEC ranters insights.

My List (all-time):
1. LSU
2. Arkansas
3. South Carolina
4. Alabama
5. Mississippi State
6. Missouri
7. Auburn
8. Florida
9. Georgia
10. Tennessee
11. Vanderbilt
12. Kentucky
13. Mississippi
14. Texas A&M
Who do you guys think was the best SEC team of the last 5 years?

1. 2008 Alabama
2. 2009 Alabama
3. 2011 Alabama
4. 2012 Alabama
5. 2010 Auburn
6. 2012 Florida
7. 2011 LSU
8. 2010 Missouri
9. 2012 Ole Miss
10. 2012 Texas A&M
I actually think he would make an awesome offensive tackle. He's got the size and mean streak. Are you serious about having him be an astronaut. I don't think he'd be ideal but he's certainly qualified for the position because he's shown a lot of mental toughness.
1. Nick Saban
2. Jadaveon Clowney
3. Neyland Stadium
4. Missouri's Rec Center
5. Aaron Murray
6. A Tim Tebow Statue
7. Ole Miss' Girls
8. Cowbells
9. Mike the Tiger
10. Vanderbilt's Colors
11. Kentucky's Money
12. Calling of the Pigs
13. Texas A&M's Campus

Nope, Harbaugh.

I was including college coaches and coordinators only.
I thought this would be another fun poll too try to get opinions from different fan basses. Not including Saban (obvious first choice), who would you want?

I have listed some favorites below:
1. Charlie Strong - Louisville
2. Steve Spurrier - South Carolina
3. Jim Mora Jr. - UCLA
4. Rich Rodriguez - Arizona
5. Mark Richt - Georgia
6. Urban Meyer - Ohio State
7. Bret Bielema - Arkansas
8. Bob Diaco - Notre Dame
9. John Chavis - LSU
10. Brady Hoke - Michigan
11. Greg Mattison - MIchigan
12. Baylor's Coach (Can't remember his name, but he did a good job with RGIII)
13. Willie Fritz - Sam Houston State

Where's AJ? I think he has a better chance than TJ (and about 25% of that list).

Sorry, I have added him.
While, watching the the spring games today, I begen to think about next year's college football season. Even though early favorites don't usually win, which of these favorites do ya'll think will win the Heisman this year?

1. Devin Gardner - Michigan
2. Marquise Lee - USC
3. Zach Metternberger - LSU
4. Johnny Manziel - Texas A&M
5. Braxton Miller - OSU
6. Anthony Barr - UCLA
7. TJ Yeldon - Alabama
8. Teddy Bridgewater - Louisville
9. Kenjon Barner - Oregon
10. Taylor Kelly - Arizona State
11. AJ McCarron - Alabama
12. Todd Gurley - Georgia
I used the US News and World Rankings.
Ultimately choosing what college to go to should consider academics first. However athletics are a vital part of the college experience so I decided to make a list weighing academics 75% and athletics 25%. Within the athletics ranking I factored football 60% Basketball 25% Baseball 10% and all other sports 5%. What do you guys think?

1. Florida
2. Georgia
3. Alabama
4. Vanderbilt
5. Ole Miss
6. South Carolina
7. LSU
8. Missouri
9. Auburn
10. Texas A&M
11. Arkansas
12. Kentucky
13. Tennessee
14. Mississippi State
