re: Question on targeting call in Peach Bowl

That makes absolutely no sense since Scat was pulled across the goal-line AFTER the no call for targeting. “Make up” can’t be made prior.

I guess it depends on how many of the transfers would have stayed if Jimbo was still there. We’ll never know, but my guess is there would have been a mass exodus either way honestly

Jimbo did a great job this year signing the class he put together, no doubt.
Unfortunately, that is only half the work. Real work for him these next three years will be coaching them up, keeping all these guys hungry and playing for each other as a team when there’s only so many snaps a game and one ball to be distributed. We all know many recruits (especially high 4 and 5 star players) come in now feeling entitled to play early. This is where I think the true genius of Saban is shown. The results speak for themselves; he keeps them focused and hungry by reminding them that buying-in and winning equals being drafted higher and future compensation, he processes (likely many choose this path themselves) those that don’t cut it rather ruthlessly and continuously reloads all while maintaining an attitude that no single player is bigger than the program.
If Jimbo can strike the right formula of keeping these players happy and truly focused on the program, he can do the same as Saban (and Kirby for that matter) and build a perpetual winner. I hope he does because I’m. Issued and it’s good for the sport overall

Congrats; He could be a stud for you guys.
Most years, it would hurt big-time to see a talent like him leave the state. This year not so much given our current haul. Still, never like to see great players like him leaving the state and playing for very possibly future competition

The fact that he’s worried about playing high schoolers doesn’t bode well for his mentality against tougher college competition. Top D1 prospects should be licking their chops to take on high schoolers. . . Probably explains why he chose a LITTLE12

Great Get; Really wanted him. Congrats!
Now work on getting him to forget about about that little ball

re: Florida is better than A&M

Florida played well tonight and could have won. I think they match-up against Alabama better than A&M. A&Ms style may not be pretty but it has been very effective for them this year

I have a feeling that Clemson is going to beat Notre Dame soundly and that gets us in

His tape is fantastic. Any team would be thrilled to have him but he was made for SEC trenches, not the little-BIG12. Would be a HUGE get
re: 4* WR Jojo Earle Reopening Recruitment (disputed by Lsu) expecting to sign with Bama today

He's very good and a clear take but lets not start calling him "Waddle Good". He's very shifty but missing that top gear that Waddle possesses
re: I find myself in the unfortunate position of rooting for Notre Dame

Am I the only one who thinks the best chance of A&M getting is a Clemson beat down of Notre Dame? I think a better chance of that than Notre Dame beating Clemson in a nail-biter again.
Either way, though, getting in means running into an Alabama team that looks pretty much unbeatable right now

Great get! His tape doesn’t blow me away as much as his ranking implies but no doubt he produces on the field. I think he’ll be a stud for you ina couple of years

Looks like a future stud. Explosive playmaker. Nice get
