What should pay out be for a $400 pot? Top 2 60/30 split?

re: Brandon Harris vs JT Barrett

I listed 5 guys that were just as highly regarded as Harris as dual threat QBs. I think Harris is in the same situation as Jerrod Heard @ UT. The fan base is calling for the kid. He is more talented than the starter but there is a dynamic in which we don't see that doesn't allow them on the field. Swoopes was pretty horrible as well.
No sir. I have nothing to offer the OC. I'm a poor little high school OC. I'm sure he could teach me a thing or two.

Brad Kaaya
Treon Harris
Deshaun Watson
Patrick Mahomes
Kyle Allen
All true freshman with significant playing time. Not because they are better than Harris but because they fit into their respective offensive schemes. Those are dual threat guys in spread offenses who are allowed to use their legs & arms. I think Harris skill set would benefit him well in an offense like Clemson or Florida. Sad to say but I think those guys would be on the bench here as well. Clearly they have the talent but none of those guys have had to transition to a prostyle offense. Granted the offense is very vanilla it's still a difficult transition. Talent is not the question. I believe the guy can play.

My only concern is the Miami matchup. Evans is appealing against Chicago
Loaded @ WR. Demaryius in one slot need help for other.
Who do I start. E. Sanders, Evans, or Gordon? Just need 1.

Cooper didn't hurt us one bit
When 8 catches for 83 yds & a TD is a bad game for you then you're pretty damn good. Cooper's footwork is phenomenal. He had Collins flat footed & created a lot of space on just slant routes. I'm not high on Collins. He kills me with his transition to pin & locate. Although he did play a good ball on one deep throw. He plays hard & with emotion i give him that. The screen play where he got cut & then made the tackle from his knees was great. You can't teach that.
I liked Mills @ CB. Wish we had another safety to pair with Adams that had better speed & instincts. No slight to Martin. He's capable. Curious to see if Ed Paris will transition to the back.

Friends from SA say he is the real deal
Real deal for SA yes. Played @ Warren & they basically destroyed everyone in the area. I'm not sure how good he is on a national stage. Listed @ 6'2 but that's pushing it but he is thick. They had some other studs on that D so he didn't just jump out to me.

Schools like Allen and Southlake are twice the size of most Houston area schools.
I get what you're saying but
Houston has it's fair share of large schools. @ one point I know Elsik & Hastings were both over 4000. The Cypress area schools all sit around or over 3500. League City schools were pushing 3600. The woodlands is close to 4000. Lamar, Westide, all the Katy schools are about 3000 or more.

I was curious how he made it out of the state. I don't know if I would phrase him as under the radar considering it sounds like Ole Miss was on him heavy. I'm not in tune with Florida prospects. Obviously the guy is talented. Taking Blakely instead kinda sums it up.

This year Region 1 was really strong in the 4A/5A classification. Taking 3 out 4 @ state. 4 out of 4 if you count Allen who is basically from the Region 1 area. DFW had premiere talent this year. Not to say Houston talent isn't great because it is. But DFW was really good.
School me on his recruitment. Was he not targeted heavily by FSU & UF being from the state?

think the overwhelming consensus was that he was the top WR there
I think KD Cannon may have been the top guy, from what I saw he did well in practice. Iheanacho was getting a lot of love but I can't say I was overly impressed. Markell Pack was just as solid.

This is just a good kid. I was very impressed with him after meeting him @ the practices. Funniest thing was because he couldn't practice he was hanging around in the back of the end zone pretending like he was a QB running the zone read with another player. Funny how serious people get but @ the end of the day they're still kids. Don't let the size fool you
Same with Clifton. Very polite. Talked about being in Baton Rouge. Yes sir/no sir. (I'm not that old). Seemed excited to see someone rockin the purple & gold. Took the time to take a picture with me.

This Army All-American Game is much more well-done than the UAAAG. It's better organized, NBC's commentary is better, the declarations are set up better with better questions, and the players are much more well-spoken.
I met some staff & a few people helping put together the Army Bowl. These guys put in work. Their focus is on the kids & not the media hype. They catered to these kids since they've been here & the majority of these players have been humbled by the experience. Not a lot of these kids come from money. The Army Bowl provided these guys with so much gear it wowed them.

Jordan Shipley
Now that I've seen them both in person I think it's actually a legitimate comparison. The route running ability is almost identical. But I think Quinn is more athletic. He can get vertical quickly. Build wise Shipleys upper body was thicker. & Quinn's lower body is thicker. I think Shipley may have been just a tad but quicker in & out of routes but the bigger difference is Quinn can stretch vertically because of his athleticism.
