re: How did you learn how to write using (mostly) standardized English?

My degree is in English. I would say that is the reason I don’t type like an idiot, but I’ve been writing correctly (for the most part) as long as I can remember.
I remember when we were practicing for the upcoming AP exam, my teacher had us peer review each other’s papers using the 1-4 grading scale. I ended up with the highest score from my peers.
I learned the traditional way, but honestly I liked it. Even when I got older, one of my favorite courses at LSU was a syntax one. I agree with others, though, that reading helps a tremendous amount.
16 first person pronouns in 7 sentences, and your degree is in English?
Total sq footage and cost? Looking for something similar. Thanks.
6’ width minimum will get both sides usable. Length depends entirely on your preference.
re: How long will it take you to consider the covid vaccine?

Masks prevent quarantines.
Vaccines prevent quarantines.
"Will you wear a mask or get a vaccine?"
Kyles and Karens: "Hell no! Big gubmint caint tell me what to do! And why are they shutting the economy down?!"

Each voter could have received $3.12. Man what a missed opportunity to cut huge checks to the American people.
Any proposed changes are not set in stone. The president doesn't get everything he wants, so even if you know exactly what his plans are doesn't mean it will happen.
The big topic i see from a basic google search is covid rent forgiveness or loan forebearance w/ all payments tacked onto the end of the loan. It is in concept only, no details worked out.
That's about all i got.

re: Starting a business versus working for someone else

Consider buying a business instead of starting a new one. It could be an much easier/quicker ramp up. I imagine now is a good time to find some folks who are ready to retire or just can't make it work anymore due to pandemic.
just built one....30 deep by 25 wide. 18 is the larger size door opening with 16ft standard. Anything other than that is custom and $$$.
30 will give room for shelving on the back wall. with shelving on both sides 25 will be adequate, but i wouldn't mind another foot on each side.

As an investment, I hate it. Over the long term rural land appreciates, but slower than most other far more liquid investments.
Timberland must still be managed, which requires overhead. But it takes years of putting time and money into it before you can take cash out by selling the timber. Hunting leases must still be managed, insurance paid, property inspected, etc. All of that takes time....your time. Or pay someone to do it.
You say learning and researching it is your passion, but you don't know how to make money from it? I'm a little confused by that.
If you want some hunting land, find the right piece and hunt it. Sure you can make a little cash on the side with it but it won't be much and it won't be very liquid. The land will appreciate over time a little, and that will help.
Fed programs CRP and WRP are also popular; really good if you want a little income and want to convert land to hunting land.
I do know of land companies that have owners who own 1,000s of acres and that is their income. But they have owned the land for decades (cheap) and would cost millions today to start a company like that.

re: Did the Texas Baws try to run the Kamala Bus off the Road??

Oh, ok. Campaign buses normally drive 20 mph on interstates. Didn't know that. Thanks for explaining.
This kind of idiocy is why we aren't up 15 points nationwide and this election is even remotely close.

Yes it "pales in comparison. Agreed. The scale is smaller, but it's the same damn stupidity. Same damn thing. Total snowflake weak sauce.
Slow down, inhibit, blockade, run off the road.... it doesn't make any frickin difference. It was weak sauce.
We look like a bunch of Antifa snowflakes blocking interstates.

You gotta admit it was a weak move. A blockad on an interstate? Really? Who are we Antifa?
Cmon people, act like we’ve been here before.

Did he not give everyone a brain? Yet we all have different opinions. As much as this board wants it to be about good vs evil, its not. Life in america will go on either way, largely the same as it would have otherwise. Presidents and congress arent what make up this country. The people are far more influential day to day in what makes this country great than elected officials.

The arrogance of your humanity borders on blaspheme. You don't know what God's plan is.
Praying for God's Will to be done this presidential election is what scripture asks us to do.
Telling God Trump should win is not.

Praying for a leader is NOT the same thing as praying to tell God to pick the leader you like.

That sounds like loser talk. It aint over yet.
I'm sure God, who created the entire universe, is going to intervene in a political election, not based upon what He knows, but what you think.
