re: Ole Miss has a realistic chance this year. I don't see LK leaving
Posted by oldtimefootball on 11/19/25 at 7:11 pm to LSU6262
Georgia beat them this year and would beat them again in a playoff game. Ole Miss can not beat Ohio State, which will probably win it all this year. Ole Miss does not have a realistic chance this year. A bad Florida team almost beat them last week. If Lane stays at Ole Miss, they will probably exit the playoffs in the 1st round, maybe the second round, and then Lane will be sitting in Oxford, wondering "Why didn't I take the LSU offer?"
What channel is the men's basketball game on?

Eliminating the Education Department and defunding PBS will be a good start.

Married 63+ years. My wife is the sweetest, most kind-hearted person I know. We are together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I need her; she needs me because we are both getting old and have medical problems. I love her and she loves me and God loves both of us.
re: Got some bad news with Lance
Posted by oldtimefootball on 1/2/24 at 4:25 pm to Eighteen
The bad news FOR Lance is that he will never play left tackle for anybody unless he loses about 20 pounds and suddenly develops the characteristics of a ballerina dancer.
He is not agile enough and probably never will be.

Lance Heard wants to play left tackle.

Of the times I saw Lance Heard in a game this year, my observation is that he doesn't have the quick feet necessary to play left tackle. Defensive ends and outside linebackers will blow right by him. His future is right tackle especially if he ever makes it to the NFL.

Unless the rules have changed an Analyst cannot do on-field coaching. Pete can provide some advice. He will not be on the practice field.

Who was the President and who controlled the House and Senate in 2017? Who was the Attorney General? Who was the FBI Director? Trump and his administration did absolutely nothing about the corruptness in Washington, D.C. during his administration. It's time to put somebody in charge in Washington who will do something - and it ain't Donald Trump.

There are some dense people on this board. This is not a FEDERAL case. Trump is accused of claiming that $130,000 paid to Cohen was a business expense and thus defrauded the Borough of Manhattan, the City of New York, and the State of New York. The CRIME was tax-related and nothing else. If you dimwits can read and comprehend, look for the Statement Of Facts and read it. I am not advocating for or against Trump.

Counting personal expenses as business expenses happens all the time, especially in small businesses, but this case will be tried in New York. He is going down after Briggs drags this out as long as he can.

I voted for Trump twice. I think he is going down over these payments to Michael Cohen. The Statement Of Facts states that Trump made payments directly to Cohen. He should have let others in his organization handle the payments so he could say that he had nothing to do with the payments. Claiming the payments as a business expense was dumb. A court in the Manhattan District of New York City will convict Trump in a New York minute.

Trump may be in more trouble than people think he is

I read DA Briggs's "Statement Of Facts" in Donald Trump's indictment. It is a relatively long read but has some interesting things in it. Trump is charged, among other things, with claiming the payments to his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, were business-related attorney retainer fees when the payments were actually reimbursements to Cohen for paying off Stormy Daniels to keep her silent about an alleged affair with Trump.
Here is the interesting part. The initial payments to Cohen were paid by Trustees of Trump's personal trust, so Trump could say that he did not make the payments himself, therefore he was not guilty. However, for reasons unknown, after the second payment, Trump began making the payments from his own personal bank account with his signature on the check. Here is the part of the Statement Of Facts that points that out:
33. The remaining nine checks, corresponding to the months of April through December of 2017, were paid by the Defendant personally. Each of the checks was cut from the Defendant’s bank account and sent, along with the corresponding invoices from Lawyer A, from
the Trump Organization in New York County to the Defendant in Washington, D.C. The checks
and stubs bearing the false statements were stapled to the invoices also bearing false statements.
The Defendant signed each of the checks personally and had them sent back to the Trump
Organization in New York County. There, the checks, the stubs, and the invoices were scanned
and maintained in the Trump Organization’s data system before the checks themselves were
detached and mailed to Lawyer A for payment.
Lawyer A is Michael Cohen. Donald Trump is the Defendent.

The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you" (Gen. 12:1-3).
Donald Trump is not electable

After reading all the back-and-forth on here between Trump supporters and DeSantis supporters, I am troubled that Trump supporters don't realize or don't care that Trump can get 100% of the Republican vote and still will not win the election because he will absolutely turn off Independent voters and Moderate Democrat voters who are tired of Joe Biden's endless crap. Their loyalty to Trump instead of what is best for the country, getting rid of Joe Biden and the Democrats, is insane.

Find a surgeon who can do the anterior procedure. This avoids cutting through a lot of muscle and recovery is faster and a lot less painful. My wife had this procedure.
