When you have a buffoon for a head coach, the national media tends not to respect you.
Last year, in order to get 2 together in the south endzone your TAF ranking had to be around 1080. For a pair together in the North it had to be around 800. You essentially have no hope of getting lower bowl tickets together anytime soon unless you donate $25,000 all at once.

Now for crappy upper deck tickets, the last couple of years you had to be ranked around 3000-4000 or so. Just to give you an idea, 25 philanthropic points will put you around a TAF ranking of 3500. You could make a $10,000 donation that gives you 35 points and within the range to possibly get a pair together in the upper deck.
Just booked room for UGA game in this questionable hotel b/c nothing else in town left. Anyone ever stayed here? Any horror stories? Is it completely terrible or is it adequate.

I believe belowpar is Greg Stringfellow, LSU equipment manager.
Brady left a better legacy. Although I'm not a fan, he made it to the final four, something we've only done two other times in our history.

Smoke, although he made it to a couple CWS, absolutely destroyed the baseball program.

Where is that baseball now?
Warren has it. Saw a special on CST or something about Morris and they showed the ball in his home.

I'm very jealous, Stu.

I wonder if other schools in California, especially those in the UC system ridicule UC-Berkeley for claiming the name California or Cal.

ULL is not even the oldest school in the University of Louisiana System. Northwestern and La Tech were founded before it. The other UL System schools did now spawn off from ULL. ULL is not the flagship of the UL System. This is much different that Cal, or Texas or Tennessee. ULL trying to act like they are similar to those schools and call themselves UL is completely ridiculous.

In the UC system or the UT system, those "flagship" schools were the original school in the system. Cal was the first school founded in the UC system. The other school were subsidiary schools over time that branched of of Cal. Same with Texas. Texas is known simply as "University of Texas" b/c thats what it originally was before smaller schools spawned from it. Now its technically the "University of Texas-Austin" but still known by original name. ULL doesn't have that history of being UL, nor is it the flagship of the system like the other major universities they try to liken their name to.
Anyone know if Nola is expected to pitch Thursday given the Thurs-Saturday series? Not sure if they want to keep him on his full rest and pitch him Friday.
This guy is apparently a Grade "A" douchebag. There was a thread about him on the OT recently about how he just parks his car near the bars in downtown Lafayette and sits in it with the doors open hoping to attract women.

More proof that the star system for recruiting means very little!
Based on what? The guy redshirted and has never taken a college snap. Now he's a bust?

We are 3 deep not counting Magee next year. We're fine at RB
So what happens in 2014 when Blue graduates and Hill and Hilliard leave early for the pros? Even IF you get Fournette, you are starting a true freshman game one in 2014. The entire RB depth chart for 2014 may be true freshman. Its a situation I'd prefer not to be in.

"By whom?" +1 on this inquiry. No sweat on not providing a precise name, but at least describe the nature of your source.
By someone who writes big checks.
I'm told Cameron is on board and they are trying to work out the financial details as we speak. LSU would like to make an announcement as early as tomorrow if possible. :nana:
I checked about an hour ago. We were:

#5 Rivals
#5 Scout
#7 ESPN

It seems like LSU's class is playing second fiddle to a lot of other SEC teams.
What do you expect? Every recruiting service has us ranked behind at least 2 SEC teams and some have us behind 3 and tied with a 4th. Not much national "love" is gonna happen for the 3rd or 4th best class in the SEC. It is what it is. Great class, just not national buzz worthy.

we could bring Bill Walsh back from the dead, and we'd still run the power-I on 3rd & 9 IT DOESNT MATTER WHO'S THE LSU O.C.

THIS. NOTHING WILL CHANGE as long as Les is our head coach. Be ready to be dissappointed next year, whoever the OC is.

Nothing will change because Miles doesn't think anything is wrong. Period.

Would you be interested in selling me your SR9c?
quote:

Will you carry or keep at home? I bought the sr9c the last no tax day and love it, but plan on carrying it. If not going to carry get sr9 imho.
Want the option to do both, thus leaning towards the compact SR9. Not sure if I will ever actually carry.
I'm looking to buy my first pistol and am leaning towards the Ruger SR9c based on various internet reviews. Looking to spend less than $500 for my first pistol. Want it for basic home defense.

Does anyone own one? Would you recommend it or something else. Also, where can I buy it? Academy doesn't have it in, seems hard to find. Does Cabellas or that other huge outdoor place in Denham? Thanks.
