I have a weed eater with a blade, but it's not good for this work. All the trees are close to the fence, that thing would get caught in the wire and cause all kinds of hell. I do have a FEL, but rotten posts are pretty much all broken off. ...
I'm working by myself, pulling them up with a chain would take quite a while, though it would probably give the best results. What works for me is bush hogging everything I can, then working small to large. Start off getting everything I can with the weedeater, coming behind that with an elect...
I'm not opposed to this, I just don't know what the best way to get through tallow tree roots is. Most of the trees are under 6", but they are everywhere. It would be impossible to miss them. Steel corner brackets?...
I have an old horse farm. It was sitting idle for 15 years before I purchased it. I'm rehabbing the property in order to board horses. There is over a mile of v-mesh no-climb fencing on it. The entire run of it is overgrown in gd tallow trees. I'm reclaiming the fence line little by little. ...
popcorn plant is good. I think it’s a tallow tree
Don't ever plant tallow trees. You'll never get rid of them. ...

No experience with a boom, but I replaced my leaky wand the other day and they were out of the $15 wandnthe sprayer came with. Upgraded to the jet stream wand amd it's worth the money. Very well built and the stream adjusts with trigger travel, not the tip. I thought that was a very nice feature. ...

I've had many a meal there. Nick is one bad mofo. I've seen him back down some of the natives that I would have never messed with. I think he's yakuza in hiding. Hell of good turkey wings there. ...

Camera system for horse stalls

Starting up a horse boarding facility and want to put in a camera system. What's a budget friendly solution that will hold up in a horse barn and will let me control access to each individual camera?...

$.50 for residents and $1.50 for non resident commuters. I believe you just have to get a GI license. I've thought about doing it. If the wife and I drive down separate, it adds up. ...

Don't get a geaux pass and yank the plate off your boat trailer. ...
I'm a fan of 35s. I don't think they are too much. 11.50 width instead of 12.5 makes a big difference. ...

I'd dig a basement out beneath before trying to raise it....
You'd really hate to be by me. On my 20 acres I have a feeder in a corner, 20 yards from 2 property lines....

What windows do I need?

Posted by DownSouthDave on 2/12/24 at 9:15 am
Replacing 4 single hung aluminum windows in my barn. Openings are 35-1/8" top to bottom and side to side. Looks like all the windows I am seeing are a hair larger or way smaller? Can anyone point me in the direction of some windows that will work? Sub $200?...
