What matters are how many championships are won..great recruits are a promising beginning...they must be coached and disciplined to then win trophies.

You're the problem....with the blessing of being the only major university in a state full with football talent, LSU has clearly underachieved and is not reaching its potential. I can assure you Alabama wins championships because its fans expect and demand they do. Too many LSU fans accept less with LES.

This is in reference to the difference between LSU and Alabama.
I am a graduate of LSU, but have relations and friends in Alabama and am there frequently.
Alabama expects and demands that its football team be nothing less than a champion. Unfortunately, fans at LSU expect and demand less.

That point about Alabama is true...as a frequent visitor to Alabama, I see clearly where they expect, and demand, excellence. Unfortunately. all too often, LSU people don't.
