Back in the "dark ages" the band sat on the 50 yard line just under the press box. At some point in the 4th quarter, the band would turn to the press box ask Sid for the attendance. Of course Sid would announce the attendance to the cheers of TGBFTL and Tiger Stadium. Thanks reminding me of my years at LSU.

Regional and super regionals are ncaa events. That's the reason we were in the 3rd base dugout on Sunday.

BTW...ESPN reported Mike is watching the games on his Ipad via ESPN3.

I believe Trimble drowned trying to save a kid. Several athletes from LSU died young: Miley, Trimble, Prather, Duhe, Redden, Pontiff, Maravich, and Andolsek. These are the ones I remember off thr top of my head. I wonder if this is consistent with other colleges
