:yack:
U "football fans" do realize that ya'll are speaking of easily the greatest fumble forcer (statistically) in the history of the college game, right?

Ya'll ever seen the Sport Science show detailing the physics calculations of the coefficient of static friction of the ball in a carriers hand with the new gloves that came about a few years ago (which require 30% more force to cause a fumble)?

Its a massive amount of force it takes to dislodge the ball. Weight lifting / bench press is simply a scientific physics calculation. But so is forcing a fumble, but its a bit more complex. Millions of people can bench press well.

Very, very few can do what Ty does with his hand n arms. U meatheads wanna diss on him for his benchin, go head. This is a fact, regarding the strength it takes to cause a fumble, the dude is the strongest at the combine, or else everyone else would be doing what he does. But they aint. No one is or has. And he did this as an undersized fella as well. SHOW SOME F'IN RESPECT!!

btw, there was another guy who only put up 4 reps as well today from the db group and bout 1/3 of dbs didnt even attempt the bench (I wonder why?). F all u Tyrann haters/detractors. U didnt deserve the greatness he brought to LSU.

You're right, we will have to go back and give the ball back to all the players that he forced to fumble. Obviously his bench press confirms that those fumbles didn't happen.

Exactly, lets all remember that we are talking about easily the greatest fumble forcer in the history of the college game. Its indisputable.

And he did it as one of the smallest playaz. NFL scouts did not forget this. Fumbles r kryptonite to even the best teams, even just psychologically. Value like a freekin geauxld nugget. Plus, Ty does have long arse arms, which compliment his lack of height nicely. This talk of his poor bench showin will only make him more angry. Look out!!!

I read his site before I do anything else in the morning.

This. Dandydon.com is the premier LSU site in my mind. I love it!!! Thankfully, Scott has continued the legacy. Look, if we all contributed $20/year he would have plenty, plenty money with over 10k readers. Pay the man his due!!

He shouldn't have to charge us, we should do it on our own like he humbly requests. That site is totally worth $1.50 a month to me!!! Hell, people pay $100+ a yr for rivals.com and such.

:geauxtigers:
The real question is what is his 10 yrd split? I predict he easily has one of the fastest times in that at the combine.

You're right, there is a huge difference b/t smoking pot (non thuggery) and robbing a student of the same school after you beat them unconscious and then threatening a gas station clerk with your illegal handgun in your trunk over paying for gas (pure thuggery). HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! I wholeheartedly agree. Good post.
Tragic. It pains me greatly to see young men throw their lives away. What are the odds these men had poor to no proper male guidance and influence in their family life? Shits a freekin epidemic, and the govt. will never fix it. They cant.

I'm sorry but people who are raised properly from the beginning just simply dont do shite like this. Its time we all start to truly understand the genesis of stuff like this. I just dont buy that its free will or mistakes or that they are this "stupid".

The giveaway is the degree of poor self image to the point where you are that reckless even with such great promise on the near horizon. I'm sick of reading stories like this. Its a cycle that breeds, the gift that keeps on giving, and so many want to oversimplify or use it for some sort of agenda.

Final rankings gonna look a lot different regarding these Tigers. Especially now with Cam here, the final missing piece.

But yeah, LA Tigers always perform better as underdogs, so these rankings are just fine. Got em right where we want em.

re: J Russell Wearing LSU SS Now ?

Wow, one can see he still has the arm. Ball just flies out his hand like a freekin rocket. If he wanted this bad enough, he could do it. We'll see.

But yeah, if I ever see him wearing that bama gear again...
IN!!!! Good Call.

In Les We Truss. He will find a good spot for him geauxing forward. Pure class and loyal as a lab.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELLZ YEAH!!!! Ole boy kept fighting & didn't give up. So many of ya'll underestimate him and have forgotten all his many successes.

He put in major work as a Tiger, clawed tooth & nail to get us victory many, many times. I couldn't imagine how hard it must be to be the QB of a major college program. Imagine the pressure!

I for one am thankful for his contributions. And I also think he is a good kid as well. I wish him nothing but the best going forward.

re: Tyrann Mathieu NFL future

Posted by NastyNutra504 on 1/22/13 at 10:18 pm
Also, it should be noted that even though he was the smallest player on the team and he yet was the most physical in the most physical conference, he never sustained an injury in 2 yrs, never even nicked to my knowledge. ...Durable as a mutha.

I predict an 8-10 yr career starting on defense somewhere + special teams duties. All this BS for him was like a nasty blessing in disguise.

Now he will truly be angry with something to prove once again. Sure wish da Saints could make this happen, but we all know why that can't be.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see him run the fastest 10 yard split in the combine.

Chavis said multiple times that he is the greatest player he ever coached. Sounds to me like he might have a shot at the NFL.

How does an undersized guy become easily the greatest fumble forcer in the history of the college game? I dunno, ask Ty.

How does an undersized guy become the first Heisman finalist as a defensive playa from the SEC in over two decades? I dunno, but I think Chavis is on to something...

Overrated?

Several actually

I dunno, he's even still denying his part in it, claiming to be a victim. Pure psycho.

And it was all so unnecessary! Dude wasnt the best LB in NCAA this yr and totally overrated, but def top 5-10. Sad n weird.
Watch the interviews with him where he goes in depth about all of this with his flowing love for his girlfriend. Not one flinch, not one body language indicator of deception. Only a sociopath/psychopath is physically capable of such a thing at that level of risk.

When Armstrong lied in previous interviews when asked bout doping he flinches all over the place, and he is definitely a sociopath. Goes to show you how much of a fraud this dude is. Goes to show you how much fraud some people are capable of. Joseph Smith himself would be very impressed.

What NFL team would want this guy now? Would forever be a distraction to whichever program. Weirdest shite eva rite shea.

re: So is Rivers after Mett or ??

Posted by NastyNutra504 on 1/16/13 at 5:45 am
Rivers has massive genetic pedigree. His bro is a repeated pro bowler and his dad was pretty awesome too. But Philip is 6'5". His bro is now reported to be 6'8". He grew an inch last year.

And we think Mett has stone feet. There are very few successful qb's w/ a height of 6'8" (especially caucasian). But we will see I guess. He will have his shot and his pedigree is too much to overlook. Sure glad Les keeps bringing in that OL talent. We will need it.

But 2013 is all Mett. He has proven he is bout ready. He will train angry all offseason, wanting to redeem from the Clemson and Bama loses in particular (one of the plus sides of the Clemson loss). He has proven he can roll, now he just needs to be consistent, and quit worryin bout all the poon he keeps poundin. He had an above average first year for sure, especially vs SEC defenses.

Mett crow hops in 2013. Book it!

I thought this was a great post. Illustrates much of what some of the older Tigers feel. Kind of like what the Saints fans deal with after the trauma from the old days.
