Walk-out song for baseball.
Posted by mark_in_table on 2/7/13 at 10:15 am
With baseball season approaching I pose a question to the Music Board. If you were a pitcher what song would you "walk out" to? I know batter was done recently. :violin: :dude:
Pitcher: 2-3 minute clip/song
I plan on answering, but this question just popped in my head so im still thinking.

re: On the subject of barre chords

Practice is def need to master barre chords. Like was said before you can always turn a barre chord into an open chord and just play 4 strings.
It helped me alot to start playing E, Em, A, & Am without using my pointer finger (rest it on the nut)It gets your other 3 fingers used to those positions, then you just have to build strength in your pointer to actually "barre" the other strings and you can move those 4 chords wherever.

Year End Bonus/Saving for Down Payment
Posted by mark_in_table on 1/7/13 at 11:25 am
Hi MB's. I got a year-end bonus and want to save it for a down payment on a house. I will probably be purchasing a house in the next 12-24 months. I know CD's are an option, but is there anything else i could do with the money that will get a better return (that isnt risky).
Stats:
Made around 73,000 net in 2012
Have 30000 in regular savings account
Bonus was 8000
Any ideas? TIA

I have used orange juice for black beans before using a variation of this...
Spicy Citrusy Black Beans
Im sure fresh squeezed would be even better.

I have AMEX Blue Cash Everyday because i dont spend enough to justify paying a annual fee. Put if i got an annual fee card i would definetly get a AMEX Blue Cash Preferred.
$75 annual fee,
6% cash back at u.s. stand-alone supermarkets (up to $6000 then 1% after that)
3% cash back at u.s. stand alone gas stations
3% cash back at department stores
So i think if you spend like $50/ week on groceries it would pay for itself.
eta- didnt see the travel perks part so my post is useless.
