He gotta be showing us some strong interest for us to keep going to Cal our staff would've moved on along time ago I like what LSUsetheforce said about pedigree but I can't help but have the thought that the coaches are just sucking up some Cali vibe during the cruddy weather month. I can't blame the staff for jumping on the jet and heading to the west coast for a week or two. The funny thing to me is that Les most likely would tell them to go and have a mini vacation as a perk for being at LSU as long as there is a good reason for being there and Adoree is one heck of a good reason. This dude is one of the few that will be able to see the field witht he DBs that are coming in. Everyone says that Les is great to work for and that is one reason why recruits can say that this staff is solid at every position these days as opposed to many other programs. I am just going to roll with it since there hasn't been a coach in LSU's history that could make up for losing those in state guys with out of state guys of similar ability. He hasn't quite done it yet but I won't doubt it at this point.

Not going to get into a "pissing" contest over schools (because there really is not one to be had), but mid-career graduates of USC are tied for 54th out of all universities in the country for earnings (not including graduate students). LSU is tied for 195th with the same criteria. You missed the point. Mid-career there is a 15% earning difference, but that difference remains respective to locales with a 30% COL difference. The latter drives the former, not the other way around. But in the case of grads who remain in the vicinity that driver coupled with the USC degree falls far short of creating purchasing equivalence. That is the point. Doesn't really matter if one school ranks 1st, and the other 1001st in sequence. Rank is less important than region in situations where COL differential exceeds sequence income spread. In this case it does. Put simply, if the income spread between #1 and #1001 is $15K but the COL spread is $30K, purchase power for #1001 > #1. Put even more simply, you take the rank. Well done. I'll take the larger house, faster car, fatter retirement, and we'll both be happy.
