At the time GT was a national powerhouse. Dodd wanted unlimited football scholarships and didn't want to split Bowl revenue. It's a matter of record in the NY Times. Just read the history...books have been written about the old SEC.

THE Social Security with-holding is not a tax. It's an investment in a defined benefit plan.
Same for Medi-care.

Did you not see what was passed the last election? Florida takes care of seniors and service people. Some now don't pay property taxes, I voted for those people.

Remember, the government can take your land and pay you their fair market price.
I would probably try to lease the right-a-way. Remember, the right-a-way also includes new utility lines, etc.
Go for payments instead of an outright sale.....

If you can't spend a few hours a week on your retirement then just throw the money away.
Either you want to be able to let your money work for you, or you work for your money.
You decide, the money is there, managed accounts are not the road to success.
Do your homework, invest wisely, and enjoy your life.....

What about SOS at Duke and UF? What the heck has Duke achieved since then? Look at the team picture vs, UNC....
What was UF before SOS? Look it up, or ask Bama fans.
What was USCe before SOS? Look it up.....
The "BIG" schools aren't so big anymore. ND has been what? Who took over? Who gets the publicity?
Saban is carrying SOS's jock strap....and SOS is carrying the Bears jock strap...let's be honest.

No offense, but, do you know the difference between wholesale and retail and dealer cost?
You should have already ordered a selection of diamonds. You get it, you get to pick the diamonds with the grades attached. It's common...
May I suggest a colored diamond? Try the fancy yellow...the blue, green, red, pink, and black diamonds are available.
Do not use a retail jeweler, otherwise you'll pay 200-1000% over the cost of the diamond.
Good luck...I do know a great jeweler in Milton, FL...He'll sell you the diamonds for cost and shipping and make his money off of the mount.
It's all about the grades if you want to resell or insure. Read about it....

Offer a cash discount, doctors and dentists do, who cares if they report the income?
Why do they work late in private practices? It beats the hell out of medicaid/medicare money..with all of the forms and waiting to get paid. Go figure...
The untaxed Black Market, go figure...A national Sales Tax will capture some of the money. Why isn't it talked about????

This is a no-brainer, raise your deductable. I carry a 5k deductable....if the company wants your business they will write the policy. They don't like it but they will, or change insurance companies. Your ride is over insured ....ask around...look at the Blue Book.

Teddy,
I'm 62 and can tell you I have been debt free since I was 42. Including cars, mortgage, credit cards, etc.
If the interest on your debt is less than the interest you can borrow, keep the debt. But, soon interest rates will return to their norms. If you have a fixed interest rate and it is below the 10-yearTB, keep it. It might FU your credit score.
Remember, let you money work for you...not you working for your money..
Good Luck....

Buy you some IBD....it pays for itself. Remember, magazines have a lead time..30-90 day old news is worthless. Buy a Barrons every week....I still say IBD is the way to go for print material. Their website prints the next days paper at 18:00. Great info, plus other useful tools.
Good Luck.....

nikki6,
Who do you think is on the hook for those loans? What if Obama pulls another GM? Average, middle-class citizens will lose money. You know, pension plans, 401ks, etc.
Remember, Obama bragged about taking away student loans from big business (bankers) and now we have a student loan bubble. Go figure, a college administering a student loan program? Talk about a self-interest conflict....

Based on the body of work on the college level, SOS is the best coach in the SEC. Look at Duke, at UF, and USC. Besides, he's cheap and produces results.
Will UTK go after DC at Duke? They should.......

SOS isn't butthurt, he tells the truth. The SEC has always been tilted toward old favorites. Any idiot fan can look at past schedules and draw an intelligent conclusion.
Look at the Stats, the "BEAR" wasn't really great eventhough he enjoyed "cheating", he even bragged about it. Read his Bio, it's all there.
Nick Saban has two wishes; he wants to be 5" taller and 4" longer.
BTW: Bama has problems with ND. Just look at the history.....

re: What credit card can I get with a 7500 or 10,000 credit

No offense to anyone. Why would anyone need a 20k credit card limit? I'm just curious? Is there a credit card out there that offers prime+1? I don't know, I don't use credit cards.
If one needs 20k why not use your local bank? I would think the interest rates would be much less. I don't understand how any credit card company could return 6% on groceries as most grocery companies operate on a 2-5% net margin.
Just curious.....

4par, The general rule was (70s-80s) one could expect inside sales for one month to equal yearly income for the owner. There are many factors though. When it comes to convenience stores I probably would only buy one from a private owner. Large chains sell losing/troubled locations for a discount just to get rid of them. Sometimes it can work to your advantage. Individual owners can do things chains can't..if you take my meaning.
Good Luck......

Are you saying 0% interest on loans the fed will not back up in default? GinnieMae is soon to go, just like the FHA billions the taxpayers owe.
Remember, the GM trick. Hell is going to be paid. I doubt the 40+% of non-tax-payers can afford the tickets.....

You can buy plans in other states. Most states allow plan transfers...go figure. My suggestion is, buy the plan, the whole plan. Buy the plan outright. You can't beat their projected return, then again, they might do a GM on you... your money is my unions money now.....money. Think some Pink Floyd, 94 concert.
