This game was worst case scenario for Saints because Dante Moore looked like a high school QB.. We need him to be picked ahead of us and he may have played his way out of the top 8

Personally think Downs is the Malcolm Jenkins pick in this draft..

Both of McCoy's last two major injuries, I'm 100% ready to blame on him trying to do too much to cover for Cesar Ruiz.. and before that I would blame all of McCoys injuries on Peat.

Our current wide receivers couldn't block a paper bag on outside runs or screens. Payton went and got Humphrey off the Giants practice squad for a reason - and it wasn't to rack up 13 catches

Where does Brandon Staley figure in here?
He installs a new system that has Chase Young and Cam Jordan attacking from the edges (rather than trying to plug Cam in as a DT) and they both have great seasons.
So was it an outlier or just a good coach maximizing his players' talents?

He is from Canada.. He portal'd to Utah, but didnt get any playing time there. He declared for the 2025 drafts - NFL and CFL -then decided to defer to 2026, before changing his mind to declare for both in '25.
NFL teams likely knew that he would go very high in the CFL draft and was a risk to sign him to a late round pick with him being from Montreal.

From both of those interviews, I would say it sounds like Cam would easily come back for a fair contract..
Demario on the other hand gave off some vibes like he might want to make one last run at a ring moreso than go after a big payday

We had the 10th pick in that draft. Payton and Loomis gave up a 3rd round pick to move up three spots and take Sedrick Ellis

Guy clearly hit a mental block with us, lost the trust of his teammates and coaches, and needed a change of scenery. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him pull a Wil Lutz and go on to be successful wherever he lands
