We Should All Feel Good About Myles Next Year

When was the last time we had a QB waiting in the wings who actually got real game experience before becoming the starter? I remember bitching about Les Miles not putting in the backup against cupcakes to throw passes to help develop our next QB. We finally got that and I think the kid is ready. It’s possible he can completely shite the bed, but until he does I expect high QB play next year especially with that stable of running backs.

I’m upset too, that we fell in the rankings. I don’t agree with it, but going into this season who would have know we would be fighting for #1 or #2 spot in playoffs? We knew we were good, but 11-0 enroute to a perfect season. We need to be thankful for the season we have had, but the one thing that separates us from the other teams in the playoff is we are battle tested. Clemson may have experience in playoffs, but they have not been tested this year. If OSU is lucky to get Utah then they will not have been tested either. I think we are the best team in the country and we still get to play the #4 team so all this may change. Most importantly we still control our destiny.

The chances of us getting him are slim. He is a candidate for Houston and now South Florida. Was said to be a prospect for other HC openings. This is going to continue until all HC positions have been filled so Fick him. There are plenty of good OC's out there. I hope O is not betting the house on him. Plus I don't feel like he is that great. He is definitely top 10 but not the best IMO.

If UW is one dimensional against Bama in the first round it will be a long day for them. Browning has been playing below average in this game over and under throwing all day.

Of course not this year, but when we go into the off season. I think the right decision was made to bench him in favor of Etling. I just feel bad for him cause Miles & Cam failed him and so many other QB's by not developing him and teaching him proper technique to be a successful QB. With another OC coming in and us going to the spread I think he will be able to shine. I still remember him coming in against State and wowing us. I hope it works out for him even if its not at LSU.

Everyone believes that in order to beat Bama you need DT QB. I think his eyes may have been opened when Etling was a sitting duck in the pocket. DT QB most elite teams have DT now. Bama, OSU, Clemson

I understand a few of those teams had a lot of injuries, but the east has been terrible for a while now. I think they should switch Bama & Aub with Vandy & Mizzou. What do you guys think?

I would want this but only if I knew we could win. I just dont see that offensive line doing any better in a rematch unless we stole some plays from auburn with a bunch if motions and trick plays. That always seems to get there dline out of position.

Im not saying that. What Im saying is you are down playing O's wins to prove a point. I think Jimbo would have been able to coach us to wins but how many coaches would have been able to take over this team in mid-season and turn the offense around and keep the team motivated? My guess not many
