Any time you call a fair catch, you have the option of attempting a field goal from that spot with no defense on the field (I'm not sure if it's an untimed down or not).

But the same rules apply: if you miss it, the other team gets it right there.

It's rare and would only happen with like 1 second left in a half.

Yeah, 1-point conversion or 1-point safety.
***SPOILERS***

Predictions, theories, reminders, spoilers....

How do they get back to the island? Where/When is the island now? Is Claire really dead? Does Hurley know how to handle automatic weapons?

I know I can't wait :nana:
New Orleans Saints (1967-present)
New Orleans Hornets (2002-2005, 2007-present)

So first of all, you're wondering why people pull for a franchise that's been here longer than four decades over a franchise that's been here for half of one.

That's dumb.

Second, you're saying that people who root for the Saints should also root for the Hornets.

That's dumb.

Third, you're saying that the reason people should root for the Hornets is because they're doing well.

That's dumb.

You are completely forgetting that the Hornets are still not "our" team the way the Saints are "our" team; that there are a lot of people who don't like the NBA; and that no one is required to pull for a particular team.

Just cheer for your team and let everyone else cheer for theirs. That way everybody's happy.

You people are starting to piss me off by pulling against the hornets. Y'all pull for the saints even though they suck year end and year out. The hornets came out 2nd in the western conference and should have made the western finals. To all u non hornets fan eat shite

I mean, why not go for it? It's not like he can pull a Ricky Davis and just throw a brick off the backboard to get his 10th rebound for a triple-double.

He has to get 402 yards. That's fricking hard.

Not to mention it's a division rival that STILL hasn't clinched the division and beat the Saints big last time. The game is not meaningless.

Drew said it's a prestigious record, but he also said they're not going to abandon the run (anymore than usual, at least) just to gun for the record:

"If it happens, it happens."

peja
Seemed like a good sign at the time because the system needs 3-point shooters to stretch defenses. But now that you've got Mo Pete and Posey, they can shoot the 3 AND do other stuff as well.

It makes Peja less valuable.

I'd give up him and his inflated contract for someone who maybe doesn't shoot the 3 quite as well but makes up for it in athleticism and rebounding.

Should say
quote:

1. Hayden Christensen (Star Wars)
quote:

The Saints got NO breaks in big games this year.
I wouldn't say no breaks.

On the fake punt pass, it was CLEARLY a completed pass, down by contact, and a fumble. Yet somehow the refs called it incomplete on the field? I laughed my arse off at that one and counted the Saints' blessings.

They also got away with a IMO blatant PI earlier.

It's more that they can never catch a break in the clutch in the most desperate of situations.

Too bad, too.
