I have several in college now and I can tell you that it’s not cheap and I didn’t save enough. Even with scholarships when you factor tuition, fees(kill your with fees) room & board and fraternity/sorority- 25k per year per kid.

We are on DMAP and are actively burning, planting plots year round and feed corn during the season. Just curious as to feeding protein and the results derived from that. What is TSI?

I’m curious about this as well. Hunt in Woodville MS about 2 miles off River. Have heard it takes 3 years to see results from protein feeding. Not sure if that’s correct or not.

I agree however I think the 257 is a unique cartridge that has been around a long time. It’s all the PRC rounds or the 7mm Western that I don’t really “get” in regards to advancement in the industry.

But is it really any better than the timed tested 7mm magnum???? Or are these “new” calibers a smoke and mirror game to sell more guns, etc? I know we can get into BC and what not but that stuff really has no bearing on the average Hunter. Long range precision shooting out to 1000 yards - maybe? Call me old fashioned but I like the “traditional” cartridges.

All the new rounds to sell more guns - BLA BLA BLA. Give me a tried true cool round like the 25.06 or 257W Mag. One of these would be a great addition to your lineup.
