Yeah I couldn't justify the extra $30 just to play a couple days early. The packs you get seem pretty cool but beings I'm on Xbox I've never played diamond dynasty so I don't know if they're even that good. I know from playing Madden ultimate team before that those beginning packs and cards become obsolete pretty fast.

I was able to pre-install it through game pass. Should come in clutch since I usually forget to start downloads. The series X version is around 72 GB

I haven't had any luck getting one online today and I think here in Maryland they're about to go back to phase 1 Covid shutdown so it's looking less likely.

Check to see if the GFCI will reset. If not, then it probably burned up internally because it was getting weak and its normal for them to go bad. I've had them go bad right out of the box before. They will smell awful when they do burn up too so that could be your source of the smell. And when I say burn up I am referring to internally not an actual fire so don't go freaking out.
