Even if it was technically there the whole time, it is an awful and unprecedented look. At some point the committee decided that that single criterion alone would now dictate the results.
Can you name all the committee members? Not asking you to do that, but I haven’t read anything about the committee members standing up and defending their decision yet.

Texas over FSU is the one that bothers me more. I watched several poorly played Texas games this year, and based on what I saw, they are not on the same level as the other playoff teams at this point in season. They struggled to separate themselves from a very mediocre conference, picking up a loss along the way. FSU in my opinion showed that their defense can win no matter who is under center. I don’t think FSU can beat Georgia or Washington, but I do think they’d have a realistic shot against Texas, because FSU with their 2nd string QB is just flat out a better team than Texas.
I always come back to the belief that if a team can run the table in any major conference and then not be included in the playoff, then they were never really in the competition in the first place.

Moving those goalposts to suit their narrative as always. I don’t recall the last point being there before this committee.
I think people just expected him to continue being part of the team through the end of the game. With over 2 minutes left in a one score game, he appeared to give up and did not try to show support for his defense. I think that would have showed leadership and a team-first mentality, and I think people expected for him to be that guy.

Can all of you whiny assholes who rag on the players’ mistakes take the day off from TD? It’s just that we’ll probably have people dropping in from elsewhere that day, and they won’t understand that you are likely just uneducated and angry with your lot in life.
