re: DH a real sore spot in softball

Beth has one of the top hitting teams in the nation this year. The pitching has not been good lately but if they can get back to where they were at beginning of SEC play then LSU should make a run at CWS

It’s getting time that he shows a bit of evidence that he belongs in the weekend rotation.

I think it’s out of Eyanson and Ware for the 3rd weekend spot whichever one doesn’t start the other would be used for long relief at some point during the weekend
What an idiot! You comparing baseball to football??

Baseball where is Milam?

Is Milam hurt because I hadn’t seen his name in a lineup in awhile?

Content with failure.

How is it failure when the better team played better that day and walked away with the win?
The entire OL’s backups are all Freshman
You can blame the non tackling on undersized players and slower to ball than your top LSU defenses of the past.

That’s 12 a year

If all 12 were defensive players then yeah we would be stacked but it’s not. Kelly inherited no talent on defense and then had to fire a DC so the defense is taking a little longer to build than the offense. He had good pieces to work with on offense when he came in. He has filled the CB and S positions in nicely in the last recruiting class now he needs DL and we will see much improvement

Moffett will pitch a lot next year!
He is the most complete baseball player on the team! There is nothing about baseball that he doesn’t do good. Defense, base running and his ABs are the best. He works a pitcher at the plate and is hard to strikeout! Only knock on him may be arm strength but we are not able to really see that at 2nd. He was born to be a lead off hitter but I wouldn’t touch the line up right now.

Larson looked more comfortable in 2 hole and I think Milam was just born to be a lead off hitter!

Baseball lineups

Posted by tiger nutz on 5/6/24 at 3:08 pm
vs LHP
1) Milam-2B
2) Larson-RF
3) White-3B
4) Jones-1B
5) Travinski-DH
6) Braswell-SS
7) Bingham-LF
8) Milazzo-C
9) Kling-CF

vs RHP
1) Milam-2B
2) Larson-RF
3) White-3B
4) Jones-1B
5) Pearson-LF
6) Travinski-DH
7) Neal-C
8) Braswell-SS
9) Brown-CF

Play these lineups the next 2 series then if any of the following get hot keep them in the lineup: Bingham, Pearson, Brown, Kling, Neal or Milazzo

So was Ulloa!
Have you ever looked at Smoke’s 5 year coaching record at LSU?
