re: Banff NP or Yellowstone

I agree with the scenery in Banff and areas around. We went three years ago and going back in July, but staying in Canmore this time.

Larry Bates Nursery only grows Camillias.

Goodness, you people bitch about anything. He's a junior in college, he should know the situation and not swing at bad pitches.
Go to Ewing Outdoor Supply or SiteOne if near Baton Rouge. They will be able to help with the right ones, just make sure the inlet size is the same.

She was much nicer about it than I would have been and knew to tell him before I did. We have an older dog that stays outside but they didn't want theirs out because it could have gotten dirty. He made his family each take a turn sitting with the dog in the car so it wouldn't be alone,. I think its rude and selfish to show up and expect it to be ok just because it stays inside at your house.

BIL and his family brought their inside dog over for Christmas Eve dinner without telling or asking. My wife, his sister, proceeds to tell him the dog is not allowed inside and needs to figure something else out. He didn't like that and pouted like a baby.

We are doing two this year, one traditional and one with shrimp and crab.

I drive BR to Lake Charles at least twice a week and you are 100% correct on this. LA drivers are just as bad but Texans are always leading the pack.

The last renovation was done after the 2019 season.
If they do close the park for a day, they will take care of you at the on site resorts. We were there a few years ago when they closed for a day or so for a storm, they were giving free food and had characters all around. They shouldn't lose power and will do everything they can to keep you happy.

re: Banff Ski trip Recommendations

We stayed at Mt. Royal right in the middle of town and walking distance to everything. Check out Canmore while you are there also. Its a little smaller but reasonably priced. Our trip was in June so no help with the skiing aspect.

I was flying solo in June out of Portland, ME at 6 pm. I got offered $1000 and countered with $1500, which they eventually took because no one else wanted to give up their seats. American put me in a hotel for the night and made it home before 10 am the next day. We used that $1500 for flights to Whistler next March

re: Timeshare question

Not a chance. It will never just be the maintenance fee. They can and will add "assessment fee" whenever they want to. I believe timeshares are a terrible thing.
