Canadian is good for laughs, but several nights in a row of near zero lows in SELA...yikes!

Going to Commander's this weekend for our anniversary and it's our first time. Any recommendations? Really excited to try it out.

Can the common folk access this model? Can't ever find it online.

I’m pretty sure the eye passed within 25 miles of Pville.

The eastern jog it took at landfall saved Prairieville from the brunt of the eyewall. French Settlement got it instead. We got lucky.
Hope this isn't a dumb question but I don't know if there's a standard to be followed here.

I want to hide the electrical boxes and cable stub-ups in my front yard. Have seen plenty of people use landscaping, others use fencing. Leaning towards the landscaping route, but obviously don't want to dig too close. Will be doing the one-call to get the lines marked, but is there a specific distance/rule of thumb of how close is too close when planting?

TIA

re: Buying a Shed/Garage

I bought a 10x14 from Cook portable warehouses across from Lowe's in Gonzales about 5 years ago and have been impressed. They're basic but very well built. Solid hardware, every joint is sealed, all lumber is treated. Sits on 4x4 skids, architectural roof. Made it through Laura, Delta and Ida without an issue.

Only thing is to make sure you stick with either the national or local office once you start the conversation with either one. I didn't realize they were different groups. They don't communicate, and I had two sheds on the way to my house at one point.

re: Greater BR Cabinet shop?

I've used Babin's Cabinet Works in St. Amant for a couple jobs the last few years. They did my cabinets in the laundry room, over the toilets, and a floor to ceiling kitchen pantry. Sounds similar to what you might be doing - they built, I picked up, installed and finished.

Brady does great work and is reasonably priced.
Thanks for this post. I have Terminix and am going to do the same thing, would rather just buy the stuff myself and treat. Didn't realize it was readily available, found all three products they use on Amazon.
I had my Honda for about 8 years. Was very happy with it but it started leaking oil last summer and Ascension Equipment said it would cost more to fix than to purchase a new one. It was to the point where I had to add to or change the oil for each cut. Around the same time, Honda quit selling...bummed me out.

I looked around for a while and decided to upgrade to Scag's 21" walk-behind. Probably over-bought, but I've used it 4 times so far and it's an absolute beast. Smooth as butter Kohler engine, and it absolutely pulverizes the grass clippings.

Depends on your role. What do you do?
Sorry for adding to a pile of weed & feed threads this time of year...want to make sure I'm doing this the right way.

I have mostly centipede with some bermuda mixed in. Yard is currently overrrun with clover/crabgrass/etc. Guy at LA Nursery recommended the following:

1. Fetilome Weed-Free Zone
2. Hi-Yield Turf & Ornamental Weed & Grass Stopper
3. Fertilome Centipede Fertilizer 15-0-15

He recommended I apply in the same order as listed above but I forgot to ask how long to wait before applying each. I put out the WFZ Saturday afernoon. When should I put out the Weed/Grass Stopper? Fertilizer?

TIA
