Jerome sounds like another Dual threat qb to me. CLM please avoid. As a black man this is the one situation where I'm wanting a white Qb that can't run at all

This is not a normal thread asking why he is not playing. I am just wondering since so many of you ask about him constantly, were do you think he will play next year, or will he even play if so were. Mop up duty at MLB or time at same.Because, next year we could be very very deep at LB.

Magee toats the ball the the middle well though.
re: Trey Quinn - Why does he start?

i really feel like Jennings is in sync more with Diarse and Dural.
Harris is more in sync with Dupree and Quinn.
Harris is more in sync with Dupree and Quinn.

"Prototypical" NFL QB, Coach Cam would do wonder with three years to work with this kid.
re: Beckwith led the defense with 10 tackles

Its just beyond me how the coaches had Welter in. Not only is he a better athlete, but Beck also has better football instincts from playing QB in high school. This was just bad coaching IMHO. But great thing it is right now. The fans were actually right one time, about a player personnel decision. (LOL)

He arguably had the best spring game. I wonder the same thing as well. He is very quick.
re: Is Beckwith that much better than Welter or am I just biased?

D jones needs to replace Lamar Louis too.
re: Anyone else think LF shouldn't be returning kickoffs?

It depends on who we put back there IMO.
LF is still averaging 23yards per return, which is like 4th or 5th in the SEC.
People are over reacting about him as the returner.
BUT... If we lean on him like last night, and we should, to were hes getting 20+carries per game... I would like to see someone else back there strictly because I dont want him to wear down.
The question is, who do you put back there?
Dural? Hes too valuable to us to risk him back there IMO.
Hilliard? NOPE... sarcasm
White? He already does punt returns. Im really comfortable with White wherever he is and think he would be an excellent kick off returner, but hes also our top CB by far and already returns punts.
Honestly, the guy I would like to see back there is DJ Chark. I think it would be a perfect spot for him. Hes a WR and excellent athlete with great speed. And has already played so its not like he can be redshirted. I think its a great way to get him out there and get him adjusted to this level of play.

I'm pretty sure La'El will play guard in the league.

Questions i have concerns about. Any ranter please give me their fair assesment

I have a few questions i have been working much more. I still catch every game. I have a few questions someone with more insight/ access can answer. Where is Ronnie Fiest?(he looked really good playing downhill) I could of sworn he had the best spring game of the line backing crew he looks really improved from first eye view. Why don't we use some other D lineman? Teuhuma(He looks like the only D emd who is getting any pressure on qb's), Neal, Herron. Jamal Adams looks beastly but why do we put him at nickel corner instead of tre'de and Jalen Collins, or Rashard? They all are proven CB's. And why do we have La'el a guard at tackle and Pocic a Tackle at guard? Any responses to help me figure these things out would be great.

Tre is the best cover guy. He's not moving.

I hope to god not because he got torched in the slot last year. He has great instincts but not a cover guy

So its looking like Adams at nickel and paris at dime. Even thought i would rather have Tre'de inside. That is why i am also not the coach and Paris and Adams sound good to me as well.

Collins or Adams baww. Keep white and Robinson on the edge.
Who will play nickel now?
Posted by lsu2nasty on 9/29/14 at 7:53 pm
with the recent injury to Dwayne Thomas, who do you other ranters will play nickel. I hope its Tre'De with Rashard and Jalen on the outsides.
What position do you other ranters see change needed on our team?
Posted by lsu2nasty on 9/22/14 at 4:09 am
I'm trying to see other ranters opinions on where you see a position change is needed? Whether that is depth change or a positions change needed.
We need La'El to move back to guard
Posted by lsu2nasty on 9/22/14 at 4:06 am
I think we have a number of spots that change. I think La'el needs to move back to guard to sure up the middle of our line.(this could help for passing purposes as well) I know he would not want to do this because he trying to get evaluated for the league at tackle but we need this.

last year we did have a guard(not a tackle) run a legit 4.78 at his pro day
