I wish they would come to Lafayette.

Spot lock will change your fishing for the better. I fish inshore reefs also and I haven’t put out an anchor in years.

I’ll miss his holiday shows. I would listen to him on Thanksgiving day and we would put our turkeys in the oven at the same time.

His root beer glazed hams were the bomb. I make it at least once a year. I’ll need to do one soon in his honor.

There is nothing “nonprofit” about nonprofit hospitals.
I bet it flies with the Merc on it. If it was stored indoors, put an I-Pilot on it and start fishing.
Post pics of the new bullpens if you have them. TIA

If (or when) the sparrows move in, you need to clean their nests out. That’s why the houses are put on poles that you can raise and lower. Make room for the purple martins. They start showing up mid to late spring and stay in So LA as late as July.
There are many Asian young(er) men staying in some of the cheaper hotels near the airport in Lafayette, and I was wondering if they were international oilfield service employees, maybe getting shuttled to Lafayette for some days off by PHI.
Question for the Energy Industry baws. Are these fields/platfoms serviced out of Fourchon?

And where are these “offshored” employees from?

Just curious.
I was there! I got two tigers in the lottery for season ticket holders. $50 each. I probably still have them.

Ceramic Coating on a New Boat

I’m buying a new fiberglass boat, and I’m trying to decide if I should put a ceramic coating over the gel coat before I use it. Would you? And if so, what product would you use?

I have a friend that put the Life360 app on his dad’s iPhone. His dad would leave the house to go to the neighborhood CVS and end up 25 miles away, wondering how he got there. My friend would call his dad when he didn’t return home and say, dad, stay put, I’m coming to get you. It’s tough to take the keys away, but there is a point you need to.

I drove through that circle last weekend. What a cluster.
H-2A is for agricultural employees and our sugar cane industry would probably be non-exisitant without them. They are hispanic and are doing it the legal way. They do go home after the cutting and planting season. I know this first hand.

The demographic of people that worked in the sugar can fields 30+ years ago are not in the job market anymore.
4th quarter, 13 minutes to go. LSU is leading Bama by 13 points. We got this one!

Anybody else have this feeling?

re: fish frying

Deep fryer turned on up to max temp, I like my fish crispy. Egg wash with a dash of milk. Zatarains fish fry. Fry 3-4 minutes. Works every time.

Snake farm. Love that place.

My first game was in 1972. I remember it well. I’m sure it was an SEC game but I could not tell you who.
