We rented a cabin in Luray, VA right on a river for 3 nights. It was an absolute blast. We had similar amount of guys you do and it ended up being about $120 per person for the cabin rental. I'd highly recommend checking something like this out. We kayaked, tubed down river, drank in the river, and there is also a lot of wineries and distilleries around that area. Lots to do and won't break the bank.
Wife and I went to Excellenece Punta Cana for honeymoon few months ago. We loved it. We didn't have any problems with mosquitos, but we sprayed every day. Water was crystal clear and beach was beautiful. Only thing we were disappointed with, was the food. There were only a couple of restaurants that we enjoyed. The rest were mediocre.

We would definitely go back.

ETA: if you go, take lots of mosquito spray and sunscreen. We ran out our last day and the resort wanted at least $30/can

Went for honeymoon and we loved it. It is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, but it's not a bad drive. We did the excellence club and had "private beach" away from the non club members. If you are going with a group, no need to do the club. As far as I know, the only differences between the club and regular suites were access to clubhouse, "fast check in", upgraded bar in room, and the private beach I mentioned. Beach was beautiful and clean. Water was a little rough while we were there.

We did not do any excursions, but there are plenty of options. Just make sure you go through a concierge at the hotel to ensure you get a trustworthy excursion company (insured, etc).

We would definitely go back.

Yea that's my bad...they have piled on the exams as of lately. Things should die down soon, hopefully. Drink away while they are fresh.

Failure to yield at a stop sign...after I came to a complete stop. Cop initially wrote me a failure to stop ticket, then proceeded to scratch that out and wrote failure to yield. Gotta love small town cops

I agree with you on that. Both are great beers.

Honestly, I prefer Ghost. This is great, don't get me wrong, but all the hype led me to believe this was THE best DIPA....something about the back end of this that I don't particularly care for. Can't figure it out. Still enjoying the hell out of it tho.
