Speaking of the Newlins...what happened to Sara Newlin?? I don't remember Steve or anyone else talking about her whereabouts this season. Any chance she'll be back in season 6?

Pretty sure she married Rick Santorum.
What was the purpose of this thread? To show how little you know about college football? This is the MSB, this is where the board talks about sports that don't involve SEC schools. Also, it's not only LSU fans you blue waffle. Oh and frick Michigan
Got this bitch and am home about to play.

You all are lucky that I chose the PS3 path in life because I'd :spank: all your arse......

but probably not  JAE, I'll probably post my review sometime Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday.

Easier ways to say you are a bandwagon fan than this.
Is it true that all Arkansas grads are guaranteed a junior level management position at Walmart?
The very fact that soccertards don't even know who their most popular player is should tell you how stupid they are as a group.

The 2006 World Cup final was watched by 715 million people.

No it wasn't. Only 600 million people watched at least a minute of the game. Only 260 million worldwide watched the entire game.

Based on?

Is that a serious question?
Pretty much everyone knows that Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL. I'm sure some in Massachusetts and Louisiana will foolishly argue otherwise, but homer opinions can't be taken seriously.

We win by at least 10. 17-7 is the closest I suspect it'll be. If Spurrier wants to make a statement, look for 31/34-7.

It's getting so ridiculous that Eli is becoming under rated...

By who? He's not a top 4 guy. He's been between 5 and 12 since his second season.
Yeah there are 3 facets to the game of football and quarterbacks are only part of one of them. They don't play defense and they don't play special teams. They can't control that crap.

Tl;dr.

We're beating you and will have at least 10 regular season wins again.

Is this really what you are going to hang your hat on? :rotflmao:

How many Super Bowl rings does Marino have?

0. What's your point? Terry Bradshaw has 4 and he's not even in the top 20 of all-time quarterbacks.

I like Manning. I don't think he's even the best QB to play the game.

Montana and Marino are the only quarterbacks in his stratosphere.

Rice, Sanders, Brown, and Manning are the NFL's Mt. Rushmore IMO.

You are the king of making shite up and presenting it as fact.

You are overrating Jordan like you have for all basketball players

A basketball game was the most watched individual sports game of all-time. Guess who was in it? Kobe and LeBron. Guess who wasn't? Any soccer player.

These idiots (not referring to you necessarily) don't understand that the most popular athletes are guys who transcend their sport. Ali transcend boxing. Tiger transcends golf (global game). David Beckham transcends sports - dude has his name movies, in McDonald's ads, in underwear ads, and was a feature part of his nation's Olympic Opening ceremony among numerous other non-soccer related exposure. Guys like Kobe and LeBron have 90% of their exposure outside of fans of their sport.

The most famous athletes always reach true fame when people who don't even watch their sport know who they are and what they do.

The fact that you don't even know who the most popular athlete in your favorite sport tells me all I need to know about you.

Was he really more popular than Mike Tyson, David Beckham, Zidane and Wayne Gretzky?

Yes. Ali and Jordan are on the Mount Rushmore of the most famous former athletes in the world. Then again, Gretzky would probably be right up there with them.
