Looks like Brother Martin and Covenant Christian are scrimmaging

End of 7. Cca 7 - Brother Martin 5

Neither teams number 1 tossed yet

They playing 10
9-5 final.

SCC threw there ace on thursday night and not throw him at CCA

Honestly most teams did that this year. Take the loss and 30plus points to win another game u should win

Moved his kid to cca?

lol

He’d be another on of those “college sophomores” on that team.

orry if someone already posted. i searched but didn't see any topics on it which was surprising. i probably spelled it wrong when i searched, lol

Thread got removed. It was getting out of hand and off topic.
Well the 2nd go round on this topic is a bit more civil…… so far

Lol
Think it’s first team with 30 consecutive in a season?? Dunno

Europe Trip - based in Ghent

what is the boards opinions of the 4 or 5 best day trips from ghent? World War Sites are top interests. Plan would be to spend a day in each spot and return to ghent hotel each night.

ETA: we are starting in Normandy and will work (drive) our way to Ghent
:geauxtigers:
I will be in Scotland next weekend and have tickets to the Open for Saturdays round. Anyone ever been to Royal Troon and can provide some insight on the course such as any good spots to stop and watch. Should we walk the whole course, etc. Of course the postage stamp will definitely be one stop

Thanks

re: Chicago for Cubs' game

BUMP: Asked the boys which stadium they wanted to hit up this year and they picked Wrigley. The dates that work for us, we can catch a Cubs and Sox Game. What is my best bet as a far as hotel location goes? Cubs is Sunday 1:10, Sox Monday 7:20. Fly home from Ohare on Tuesday. We fly in Saturday afternoon
Covenant Christian only losing 1 senior. They had 2 juniors, 3 sophomores, 2 freshmen and an 8th grader in the lineup against Glenbrook.
I was wondering if that was one of the sons. lol.
From someone driving to Beaumont from Houma for work and stopping in on the way once it went to game 3, I have no dog in this fight. From my view, Barbe fans(adults) were not the issue for game 3. It was the students. The same ones that got tossed twice lol. I Personally saw a few throw gum in the direction of mandeville fans but I will say there was some mandiville fans chirping too. As someone stated, good clean trash talk is ok. The way some of these people in the stands acted doesn’t belong at any game. Student sections are obnoxious everywhere if we are being honest.

As far as the game, I really enjoyed it. It was competitive and intense. Barbe took advantage of the opportunities given to blow it open with that 5run frame. I enjoyed the way both teams coached and played. The only bickering I saw on the field was between barbe 3b coach and the barbe head coach. lol.

ETA: I’m only talking about game 3. Was not around for the other 2
Barbe students just got kicked out from the OF wall. Likely harassing the LF
