No news for a week….hope he’s ok!
re: LSU’s return on investment this past year was catastrophic

And obviously every team who doesn’t spend the most must do other things to win. Better coaching, get kids to aspire, pride in your performance and recognition that an individual can both contribute to team success and improve their chance to make the NFL. Do those things and very good, 4 star recruits, can win it all.
re: Watching the playoffs it’s obvious we lack dynamic defensive players

Great comments….couldn’t agree more. The combination of aggressive physical players and attacking defensive scheme from coaches is the key to success. Need them both. Physical athletes can be restricted by lack of affirmative coaching and defensive philosophy. Those teams all have a aggressive mindset, not a “bend don’t break” approach
Thanks!
Thanks!
re: Coach O and Les!!

When we hired Saban he was 34& 23 and highest ranking was 7th. Not suggesting that Kelly is Saban, but when we hired him, he had been more successful statistically than Nick. And in his first three years at LSU he had 3,4,5 losses. In his 3rd year he went 8-5 and lost to Texas 35-20 in the cotton bowl! What am I missing?!!
Coach O and Les!!

Which one of you truly thought either of those guys were going to bring us a Natty? Be honest!! Kelly is as good as Nick was when he got here. So let’s see what happens.
re: Kelly haters are ungrateful

Bet he wins one before Lane, Napier, Fickell or Riley……-all those who folks were screaming for when we hired Kelly.
re: Let's talk about Nuss...

We’ll just have to wait to see if he does the work, and has the decisions making capacity of JB &JD. We’ll see it vs Clemson!! As far as NFL, next year the QB group doesn’t seem much better than this year. He should have the motivation off season to grab this chance to climb the list.

We’ve had some, maybe get their coach!!

Chip Kelly is winning this game!
re: With what we saw out of WRs on the field and the ones coming in. Who plays.

I feel it has Moore to do with our vanilla route packages. Watch OSU and Oregonand you see guys running combo routes with 2/3 guys involved,,,,we have an experienced QB who should be able to read advanced pass pattern tree.
re: Bryce Underwood flipped from LSU to Michigan because of “education”.

Stanford would have welcomed him with open arms!
re: LSU picked to land Center Braelin Moore from Virginia Tech

How many other freshman centers were there in the SEC this year?
re: Fans don’t understand the portal

I would guess that these decisions, later in a career, are more accurate and potentially fulfilling than when they left high school.
re: LSU TE Ka’Morreun Pimpton in the portal

End of season chat with Sloan and he was told he’d be a TE not a WR in 25. My guess
re: Pimpton in the portal
Posted by PasadenaTiger on 12/10/24 at 12:57 pm
Was told he will be a TE next year, not WR!
re: Purdue Edge Will Heldt to visit LSU

Jared Verse, Univ of Albany, FSU, NFL!
re: Womack projected to Ole Miss

Who will be their QB? They need a polished stud to run Kiffin offense.
re: What do UGA and Texas have in common that have made them so successful?
Posted by PasadenaTiger on 12/9/24 at 12:30 pm
Nick Saban
re: Next year position for Trey Green

We can talk about Sloan, but what are we paying Hankton for? I watch Oregon, SMu, Ohio State passing schemes and see creative and diverse pattern trees! We are still have a steady diet oh fades, flat toss and mid distance outs to TE. No crossing mesh or area floods. Don’t think any defensive Coord worries about matching up on our receivers because of their talent, it is the sophistication of our scheme!
re: all I want to know about the portal is if LSU is going as hard as it can after the Safety

This kid not only brings his talent at the position but he also raises the general level of physical play, something our defense needs more than anything! Has an influence on the other ten players. Think Chad and Hiney Badger!
